Yes But UI thought she had dual citizenship? Is there even a Swedish team (yes I am naïve)
Won't Haak be playing for the Dutch team?
S: Roberta, Claudina (she much better than Fabiola) Opp: Tandara OH: Gabi (Rio even though I think she has a hard time against good blockers, you need her in the back row) Fe, Natalie MB: Bia, Carol, Natalia (from Osasco..I know she is older but she has been playing solid) L: Don't know
Rio Gabi is a good back row/receiver but too short I think to play in Turkey or Italy. She’s coming back from an injury and she’s not looking good at attacking. Really Bartsch-Hackley to Brazil? I wonder why?
So happy to see Praia win. Poor Tandara she couldn’t do it all for her team. Nati, mb, did really good at blocking even got some good digs. The setters were inconsistent and Leyla was a disaster. I’m not sure about the championship. Rio has good passing and Roberta is setting well but they are a short team and Praia has tall blockers. But Praia needs to pass to have a chance. When does the championship start?
Did Praia and Osasco play yesterday?
Is it me or is the quality of the video on LVF just bad. I don't know if it's being played on a little bit of a faster video speed or the camera person just moves it around so much. It's really hard to enjoy watching it
I'm naive...Do they use a different ball in the Turkish league then in other leagues or when national teams play in tournaments?
Matthias and Kk15... what stats I could find, Diouf was second on the team with points just behind Bartsch. But she had 10 errors. I couldn't finds stats to show how many total attempts she had but you would think she would but more balls away then she does. And she had no block because they kept hitting to the right of her block. I don't know, I just expect better than how she plays. I do appreciate your comments though.
I watched Novara-Busto good match......PLEASE GET RID OF DIOUF! She does nothing for the team. Can't block, can't hit, can't move. She will be their downfall. Egonu is so young and she is just terminating. Piccinini Is such a smart player. Great match to start the season.
Two good matches. I don't like the Golden Set. Tandara is a beast and Bia with 9 blocks.
Yes thanks for the reminder. This Saturday Novara plays Busto.
It should be an exciting season many changes to teams. I'm going to miss seeing Carol play for Rio. Thanks Nobodyknows for the broadcast information for the tournament.
I don't see LAOLA1.tv covering the championship. Is there another way to watch the matches?
Awards for the tournament. Most Valuable Player: Zhu Ting (CHN) Best Outside Spikers: Zhu Ting (CHN), Jordan Larson (USA) Best Middle Blockers: Ana Carolina Da Silva (BRA), Yuan Xinyue (CHN) Best Setter: Koyomi Tominaga (JPN) Best Opposite Spiker: Tandara Caixeta (BRA) Best Libero: Kotoe Inoue (JPN) Top Scorer by Day 28 – Tandara Caixeta of Brazil v Russia on September 5 33 – Zhu Ting of China v Brazil on September 6 27 – Nataliya Goncharova of Russia v USA on September 8 22 – Andrea Drews of US...
That's a lot of older players for 2020
Blaming Karch...really. Larson and Hill didn't play well. Larson looked out of shape and winded at the USA Cup against Brazil. Drew did well until she started making mistakes and I think that hurt her confidence. The passing was bad. I would have started most of the team that went to the Grand Prix, they had at least play together and knew what to expect from each other. And I would have added Adams too.
