Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

KYK set the bar for being the best all-around OH of the current generation with Larson probably being a close second. For me i'm feeling that in the next couple of years that Bricio will be seen as that person. Zhu the best attacker, clearly, but not the best all around.

Bricio is on the cusp of being the next KYK. She has all the tools to reach that level. Once she improves her reception and overcomes her mental errors she will be there.

If Imoco brings this A game to Vakif they have a solid chance to win. Seldom have I seen them when everyone was playing well and they limited their errors. Woloz must be grateful for the great passing she is getting from HIll.

CEV Champions League 2018

Is the two Turkish team rule still in play for the final four? Do the two Turkish teams have to play each other or will it be the way the CEV schedule states?

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Agreed. WCC played in the fall of the next season are essentially exhibitions of top teams and in no way reflect the true meaning of what the WCC stands for. Only tournaments directly after the Club season truly reflect the top Clubs for that year. Same players, hot or cold coming into the end of the season. It really just amounts to a money grabbing scheme and probably shouldn't even be scheduled on the years that it can't be played immediately after the season. The prestige of the tournament i...

Imoco plays 7th place Pesaro on the last match of the season. If they can't beat them at least 3-1 they don't deserve to be first. The big thing today is when Imoco rallied from 0-2 to take it to 5 sets and claim that single point. First place and the ticket to next years CL is theirs for the taking. Take care of business and no one can catch them.

Enright, Enright, Enright...If you go back and watch their first meeting of the season she did the same thing at the end during the key set. She is +5 in one set while Bricio is +1 for 4 sets. Tough to win with all those errors.

I guess the foreign limit for next year is still a hot topic and not finally decided based on this article in Italian press. volleymob.com/italian-teams-vehemently-oppose-limit-international-signings/

If Imoco keeps the team together for next year then Haak for Fabris and Orro or ? for Woloz.

Enright owns Imoco, just like the first match of the year.

Egonu is fast approaching the Bosco, Zhu status as an attacker. As she learns to control her errors she will soon be part of that top elite.

The foreign limit will be worse next year when it goes to three. It will be imperative to have a top Italian setter, Orro? and one strong OH to compete. There are plenty of qualtiy MB's in Italy.

Imoco, two free balls in a row and they couldn't get a decent swing. That hurts.

I'm appreciative of Hill's back row defense. I don't think there's anyone as tall as her that can go so quickly to the floor. I guess being slender has some benefit.

Hill's attack percentage has to be well over 50% based on this set. Very similar to the second set yesterday but Busto came right back and should have taken the third.

It's a shame, Shame can't tweet directly to the Novara bench. Hill thanks you for that.

The ace to error ratio is too high for coaches like Kiraly or Guidetti. Bosco had one of the best jump serves as did Larson and they all shifted when they went to Turkey or the USNT

Bricio will never play in Turkey with that serve. She should start shifting to a jump float now like Bosco. Plus it would be great if she could hit off the high hands on the triple block. Less errors from her is important today.

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

Kim Hill's continued service woes will need to be fixed before the NT season starts or her starting position is at risk. Once considered the most formidable part of her game this season she has struggled and being pulled at 21-23 shows that the coach has no confidence that she could put 3 balls in play in a row. Otherwise her game is very solid today.
