Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Naz is a great setter, she has just become too reliant on Zhu. Usually that's OK because Zhu scores off everything but in game 2 and 3 that wasn't happening and Naz lost confidence and didn't know what to do.

Quoted from "Canter" Adams leaves so Eczacıbaşı will need a foreigner MB maybe they transfer a good local MB then trust in them like Fener does They will keep Boşkoviç,Larson and Maja Should Eczacıbaşı trust in setter Ezgi Dilik to have another foreigner spot instead of Maja ? Ezgi +another good local setter Which local MB is an improvement on Busra and Beyza though? Outside the top 4 teams are there any local MBs who could really help ECZ? I think Ezgi was a good setter in Fenerbahce but every...

Quoted from "beri" Honestly who says VB will sign Rasic again? Zehra-Kübra duo seems more then fine to me. Milena was not that spectacular this season. I like her, but I believe she needs a new challenge. Good point, Zehra-Kubra would be a good combination. Rasic's blocking is still great though, it's just she seems to have lost her connection with Naz. I just think Vakif would hate to let her go because she is maybe the best blocker in the world.

Quoted from "Canter" Gözde and Naz were making the difference for Vakıf for a long time in VVSL...Gözde retires..lets see how Vakıf will fill in the gap after Gözde? will They trust in Tuğba or a foreigner OH ? If they use a foreign OH to replace Gozde then that means one of Zhu/Rasic/Sloetjes has to be on the bench so the team will be much weakened. Tugba can't play at Gozde's level yet, but maybe with enough matches she could be good enough.

Quoted from "pope" Vitra still needs to sign a OH that can pass/attack....otherwise I think next season they will come up short again....like we saw in the last 2 games when u shut Boskovic down you shut the whole team down.....and they don`t have a strong OH that can take it over when Boskovic is not playing well. Vitra did shut down Zhu in game 2 and 3...that`s why they won... but replacing Naz with Cansu brought Sloetjes back to life and that`s why they won. Natalia or Kim would be perfect f...

I think this is the right dream team for the finals except Sloetjes should obviously be there instead of Nesli. Who would you guys put in a Dream Team for the whole season? I'd say: Ognjenovic-Boskovic Zhu-Larson Eda-Carol Not sure about libero. I thought Gizem Karadayi was digging brilliantly, but her reception isn't that good. Maybe Gizem Orge was most reliable but she had some poor matches.

Quoted from "leo2017" Neslihan is the best opposite??? That is why the best opposite is missing today!! Neslihan? I love her but I thought it was a Dream Team of the final? I know she is a retiring legend of Turkish volleyball but I really don't see why Neslihan gets an award.

Quoted from "saishuu" Quoted from "Sisko95" I don't think Cansu should be MVP. She played well, but she was on the bench for most of the season. 2 good games doesn't make you an MVP imo. If the MVP is awarded for best player of the finals, I'd give it to her for sure. I guess she has a case but I think when you have Sloetjes and Zhu playing well a setter's job is made a lot easier. She did a good job, but I think it was more that Naz was playing badly that was holding the team down.

Congrats to Vakifbank I said before the game that Boskovic needs to play better than the previous matches, but today she played one of the worst games I've ever seen from her. I don't think Cansu should be MVP. She played well, but she was on the bench for most of the season. 2 good games doesn't make you an MVP imo.

Quoted from "beri" Red card for Sloetjes who seems to have cursed something at that point, shocking. She is never loud or agressive really. Must be a first for her I can only remember her being aggressive once before. Last season vs Eczacibasi but I think Kosheleva started it.

Quoted from "sitenoise" Who is #18 in the Red Shirt? Her hair keeps getting in my way, can't read it. I like her style. And #4 in Black. 18 is Zehra 4 is Beyza

Exactly the same as the first set. Vakifbank get into a huge lead, Eczacibasi slowly narrow the gap and even go ahead at 22-21 and 23-22 and then Vakif win the set anyway.

I may not always like her attitude, but some of Gozde's digs are incredible.

I hope Sloetjes performance in these last 2 matches has stopped anyone calling her a choker. Meanwhile, does Cansu really have to scream so loud after every point?

First set to Vakif, but this match is not like the last one because ECZ is actually playing well. If Boskovic can step up her game I think Eczaci still has a good chance.

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

The level looks OK to me in general. Yes, today Novara have played a really bad match so far but that happens. Maybe the teams aren't as good as Vakifbank and Eczacibasi but they are still very good teams.

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

What a ridiculous suggestion. Vakifbank played better than Eczacibasi yesterday, it's as simple as that. Sometimes even great players play bad games. Do you really think a team of elite players who have shown their passion and determination in the previous 2 matches are going to just let the other team win? Why would they want to make it more difficult for themselves? Honestly this makes no sense, as Beri said no team would benefit from this and just needlessly questions the integrity of these t...
