technical problems/missing posts

Quoted from "saishuu" There's one thing that's been bugging me recently: the spacing of the posts seem off. The format of my posts gets shuffled everytime, like I'll create two paragraphs and they get merged into one or the lines get mixed up. Any of the mods know what's going on? I can confirm these problems.

2018 CEV U18 European Championship

Quoted from "YavorD" He is a member of ASV Dachau, perhaps the oldest serious and most decorated club in south-eastern Germany and especially in Bavaria. He was part of Dachau's junior team (listed as Dachau III or IV, whatever) two years ago when I had the chance to play against them in a local Munich division. Back then I was still playing or at least trying to get back in shape He wasn't the brightest or most spectacular player on court for them, yet it is remarkable how far he has gone to c...

2018 CEV U18 European Championship

Congrats to the german boys The way they crushed Russia yesterday and the Czech team in todays final was very impressive . The czech team wasn't exactly up to the task and really didn't play well. They probably let too much energy in yesterdays surprising win over Italy. But credit where credit is due, the german team just didn't allow much today. Filip John (opposite) was elected MVP of the tournament. My personal MVP vote would have gone to Simon Pfretzschener (OH). Great stats in yesterdays s...

2018 CEV U18 European Championship

Semifinals (14th April): 17.30 CET Italy vs. Czech Republic 20.00 CET Germany vs. Russia Matches will be streamed on Laola TV. Regarding the performances of the german team, coming in first of the group is of course a great thing. I only watched a set here and there, so i can't really say something in depth. Judging by stats and my limited impressions, i would say that the strength of the team lays in the good level of the wing spikers. First to name would probably be opposite Filip John. Room f...

Germany - Volleyball Bundesliga (VBL) 2017/18

Quoted from "TimHH" Friedrichshafen (1) vs. Bühl (8 ) Berlin (2) vs. Lüneburg (7) United Volleys (3) vs. Herrsching (6) Düren (4) vs. Hypo Tirol Alpenvolleys (5) While,as expected, Friedrichshafen pretty much crushed Bühl, all other series went into a deciding 3rd match. Berlin showed again that the coach wasn't their only problem this season. In the end they overcame Lüneburg in their home place but overall the performances weren't glorious. Robert Kromm just doesn't have the form of last year...

CEV Challenge Cup 2018

Congrats Ravenna Buchegger with some very important kills in the third set. Still remind him from Bundesliga as a talented but pretty unstable player, who often lost it, when it mattered most. Hope he can grow with this match.

CEV Challenge Cup 2018

Ravenna kept the nerves in a tight first set, despite the good show by Olimpiacos Ultras.... EDIT Lets hope that the lack of a challenge system wont be decisive tonight. I wouldnt put too much trust onto linesmen.....

CEV Champions League 2018

Obviously no rabbits available tonight.... Congrats Zaksa, a more than deserved win. They knew what they had to do better than last week and perfectly executed. Great variations in service, well prepared for Friedrichshafen's floats and great distribution by Toniutti. 72 % positive attack speaks volumes of the match. Implosion of Friedrichshafen is a bit sad as the big crowd in the gym surely deserved a tighter match.

CEV Champions League 2018

So far it seems that Zaksa took their lesson from last week. The first two sets were even more dominant than last weeks. They look focussed, hardly commit errors and their side-out is almost perfect. Lack of service pressure by Friedrichshafen may help here. Hard to imagine a turnaround, Zaksa just looks like the better team tonight. Heynen has to pull out the rabbit off the hat now

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "Matthias" So their invincibility is over... Yes, still an impressive run but Heynen may even be a bit happy that the talk about this is over now. Not about losing this match in such a fashion of course. Overall its a good result. The battle should be good in Germany. We will see afterwards how much they will still think of this lost 5th set...

CEV Champions League 2018

Argh, how could Friedrichshafen still lose this? WHat was the lead? 11:7 ? Great service streak by Buszek though.

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "Matthias" Zaksa's blockers are going to have nightmares about Protopsaltis for weeks They must be so pissed. I really loves this guy. Such a great palm and anticpation I really want to see him spiking against Mikhailov and Atanasijevic....

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "TimHH" Its not over yet but the first defeat for them is clearly on the horizon if they don't improve I should have known better Finally they have sucked enough energy out of Zaksa and their their game starts clicking. Sossenheimer has improved but otherwise they haven't changed much though. But still, third set for them and a lead in the 4th now

CEV Champions League 2018

Second set also to Zaksa I can't help myself, but again i am feeling a bit annoyed by watching Friedrichshafen. Not really fun to watch their lollipop serving. This ztime even not effective. Zaksa with over 60% on attack. Thats just too much. Its not over yet but the first defeat for them is clearly on the horizon if they don't improve

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" I can't believe all matches involving Trento,Perugia,Lube and even Ravenna for the challenge cup are almost at the same time. thats a pity i agree. Friedrichshafen with their usual approach against Zaksa but its not enough in the first set. Block is OK for them but they don't defend much. 3 service errors were crucial for them measured from their usual standard....

Its been a while since i posted here..... Main round finished yesterday and playoff matches are set. We have: Friedrichshafen (1) vs. Bühl (8 ) Berlin (2) vs. Lüneburg (7) United Volleys (3) vs. Herrsching (6) Düren (4) vs. Hypo Tirol Alpenvolleys (5) First round will start coming Wednesday. Playoff schedule: http://www.volleyball-bundesliga.de/cms/…_playoffs.xhtml Due to the strength and stability of Friedrichshafen and the problems of Berlin, the battle for first place wasn't a real battle thi...

CEV Champions League 2018

So in the end, good statements by the teams who were supposed to advance before this round. Didn't see much of the action this round, only parts of the trentino-chaumont match. I defenitely share yavor`s sentiment. What a waste for Chaumont to lose this match in straight sets. Very mature peformance by Trento in the important moments of the match though... Regarding the german derby , the return match pretty much run as i expected. Berlin just couldn't put something upon their decent performance...
