2018 / 2019 Transfer Rumors and Discussion

That's also impressive on Kovac's part that he was able to have grwat achievements in a short time. In my opinion Iranian players have a problem with their mentality as players that Kovac style of coaching is incompatible with their attitudes. I don't think Kovac was doing bad anyway. The players probably doesn't feel his vibe in a cultural way. Changing coaches every year can be beneficial or detriment. I think Lozano made a fine adjustment on ironing whatever kinks they had before the olympic ...

2018 / 2019 Transfer Rumors and Discussion

Quoted from "LDvolley" Quoted from "Rains" I don't see your point. Bulgaria and Germany are weaker from the London Olympics. I never expected them to do better now. By the way Argentina in London defeated Bulgaria Team A. Argentina also got beaten in the South American Championship by Venezuela. I really cannot trust him with his results lately. He also has a terrible knaxk for underestimating opponents nowadays. If CSV decided with the South American Championship as the sole qualifier for the ...

2018 / 2019 Transfer Rumors and Discussion

Brenden Sander(Taylor Sander's younger brother) to Verona Argenta to Ravenna Velasco doesn't like Cebulj/Bednorz(he wants good receivers like Berger who has a contract with Perugia. He wants to go away but in Milano). Do I trust Velasco? I don't. I think Modena made a big mistake on hiring him. His philosophy will probably hurt Modena than it will help them. He was one part of the reason Argentina lost in the quarterfinal of Rio Olympics. Toncek Stern to Latina Maruotti to Civitanova Sam Holt to...

2018 / 2019 Transfer Rumors & Discussion

Quoted from "Mapuan" Quoted from "Rains" Quoted from "Mapuan" Quoted from "Meatballs" Quoted from "saishuu" Here's the thing. When you enter into an agreement whether its verbal or non verbal, it's still a contract. The written contract signing just finalizes everything. ...while I do undestand Hooker's position, it would still make her look unprofessional not to honor an agreement especially in competitive sports when you could've hired someone else before they got signed by another club. Hook...

2018 / 2019 Transfer Rumors & Discussion

Quoted from "Mapuan" Quoted from "Meatballs" Quoted from "saishuu" Hooker was a perfectly good team player in Minas, though. Players and audience alike loved her and she played there for two whole seasons. Sure she has a bad history, but geez, it's not like she signed with Galatasaray and canceled her contract once the season started. Quoted from "Meatballs" Wow Hooker must have some serious issues! She blocked three GS fans I know on twitter who expressed their dissapointment in a kind way. Sh...

2018 / 2019 Transfer Rumors and Discussion

Rumours of Kovacevic-Jaeschke exchange. This is a very bad trade. I hope Mosna thinks about it. Jaeschke is very unstable even more so than Russell. I would keep Kovacevic and hope that Trento can get Jaeschke or another foreign OH to become the back up. I think Jaeschke would be good for Trento to have an american friend with Russell as his company. I don't think Jaeschke would be left out, he has a very good serve and could improve if he stays in Italy. Kovacevic and Russell are not also perfe...

Men's World Championship 2018

He extended with Lube for 3 more years so that tells you how he values his club over his messy NT led by Konstantinov. I think Sokolov was already feeling the pain in December 2017 He only played 3 less games than what he should've played in his condition for this season I'm not even counting World Club Championship and Champions League. Konstantinov should have probably used all in his power to put less strain on Tsetso during the club season considering they are the co-host of the world champi...

2018 / 2019 Transfer Rumors and Discussion

I've grown to dislike Bruno after this Stoychev business. I think he just wanted to pass the blame on somebody else with their failed season in Modena and also used the chaos within to make a transfer to Lube, go to a stronger club that could compete in the Superlega and Champions League for the gold and effectively play with Leal as he will be able to suit up for the Brazil NT in the following year. It's like hitting four-five birds with one stone. It's very clever actually.

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

I think Kiraly would rather have someone like Zhu Ting or even Natalia and Kosheleva than another dominant opposite like Hooker. In his system of strong receivers and great attacking middles, there's no need for a strong opposite unless she's a lefty like Lowe,Murphy and Drews. Quoted from "B-quick" Where are the NCAA alums? These non-NT are shining and racking up points elsewhere. EUR, hell even small Asian countries like Philippines and Indonesia... Against 260cm blocks? Murphy would probably ...

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

Quoted from "Sisko95" Quoted from "Rains" I would set to 4 as well. That's the money shot. Trusting Malykh all the time can be a double edged blade and Efimova is too slow as a slider and Fetisova is not exactly that person. I just feel Romanova should've given Malykh or the pipe attackers some crucial balls but she's technically correct going to 4 all the time. I still think Russia's blocking with Efimova killed them. She was giving too big of a space for Netherlands to bring down the ball to ...
