CEV European League 2018

I just saw that Hungary's starting OPP Szedmak is only 16 years old (born September 2001) She performed very well and not at all like a 16 year old girl, I'd never have estimated her being that young Knowing this I think she's a great prospect.

CEV European League 2018

Quoted from "saishuu" I'm watching HUN-FRA for whatever reason and I have a genuine question: how is France still not able to put together a decent team? Do they really not invest in female volleyball all that much? I've been asking myself the very same question, especially considering they have a fairly strong domestic league

Quoted from "Sidney" So Plak has been officialy moved to OPP? I miss Pietersen As far as NT is concerned I think yes. And honestly considering her poor reception skills I think this position suits her better than OH.

German NT 2018

Changes are announced now: Denise Imoudu replaces Pia Kästner, Barbara Wezorke replaces Jennifer Pettke and Ivana Vanjak replaces Hanna Orthmann. I really don't like the last one. Orthmann is our biggest prospect on OH position, IMO if she is healthy she should do the whole tournament and not 30 year old Jana Poll who has been very disappointing in week 1.

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

Quoted from "pope" That ball was in...it was a beautiful tip by Busa...and u could tell it was in by Amanda`s reaction... Because it was so close the computer guy was able to fix it by placing the ball out...and you could see by the shadow the ball was 100% in.... Yeah right. He surely did that because he doesn't appreciate Busa's greatness.

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2018/2019

Quoted from "StefanS" Anne(gret) Hölzig stays in Potsdam due to club message - she is just the second known to stay and also the second known player for this season at all. That's not true. Wilczek, Weske, Stautz and Hölzig makes four, not two. Unless you decide not to count the two youngsters

Oh well, at least I won't miss anything of this match when it's done after 3 sets. What a waste of chances

Brinker's blocking is criminally bad today, she keeps getting tooled or being totally out of place

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

Quoted from "saishuu" Quoted from "Matthias" Quoted from "pope" I agree...but he could have tested players against Japan and Germany... Players like Busa and Milenkovic aren't going to learn anything by playing against German bench, but by playing against Brazil's (current) starters they can. They can't learn anything from Japan and a team that beat Brazil, but they can learn from a Brazilian team without Garay, Thaísa, Natália, Dani Lins, Gabi (mostly)? Sure... Read more carefully. I said they...

You need to understand that VNL is not about winning matches, and even less so in the first week. Of course it's nicer to win, but coaches are going to test players, make sure they get some rhythm but aren't exhausted, rest those who might have minor problems etc.

Quoted from "pope" Who said Amanda is not National Team Material? Even though that wasn't my exact wording I assume you mean me And even though she plays better today than in the first two matches, she's still no comparison to the likes of Natalia, Fe Garay, Jaqueline, Paula Pequeno etc. Oh, and who said he was going to "not post much" when he sneaked back in? Damn I was hoping for a 3:0 match, now GER-JPN will start delayed
