2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

Volkov is the Russian Captain?? I think he`s too young... Weird that neither Grankin and Butko will be playing VNL.

Volkov? Or maybe are you confused a bit and you trying to refer to the Canadian Sharon Vernon Evans?? Because Sharon is the one with the huge jump. Either way Sharon Vernon is injured...maybe he will come back for the WCH. Quoted from "akitoakie" is that wonder kid that has an incredible jump height playing for Russia? I can't remember his name. he is playing on the OPP position. anyway, can you guys share any links for the Men's VNL?

Chinese NT 2018

Quoted from "sitenoise" Quoted from "tomen" In Week 3, Zhu Ting replaces Zhang Yi-chan Of course! They play Japan next week. Nobody plays their B-team against Japan. I know right ...... Japan is clearly the most feared team out there as nobody can afford even playing with a mixed roster against them... Even Queen Ting gotta cut her vacation short.

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

That`s fine.... But Sole`s season ended actually a while ago, same time as Wallace and Ivovic and both of them will be playing this weekend....same goes for Poglajen as his team did not even reach the semis.....The season in China ( Conte) ended a while ago and the season over there is shorter. They play at home next week? So does Brazil...still they are going to Italy. Like I said.. there`s no need for Brazil to be playing with their main squad because of their experience..but still they are do...

Italian NT 2018

Malinov and Cambi spent their first season on the bench, so what I`m saying is if Pietrini comes to Serie A after Club Italia and spend a year on the bench in the year of the Olympics, she surely won`t be ready to play at the Olympics. Even if Zhu spend a year on the bench her level will drop. Pietrini is only what 18?? She must be playing full time in order to improve otherwise she won`t ever get there. ...Egonu is a rare case. Bonifacio won the championship with Novara after having a great sea...

Italian NT 2018

Lubian is a great attacker but her blocking is non-existent right now. Of course she`s only 18 and she will improve but I don`t think she`s ready for WCH and I think Folie will be deeply missed. I have to say I`m a little disappointed with Pietrini.... but I think that has to do with @Togut telling us that she`s so great and for sure she will be starting for Italy in Tokyo. I think she`s "very promising"...but she`s not even close to be considered as a starter for Tokyo.... we r only 2 years awa...

Murilo is going as well France without Clevenot. Is he injured ?? Too bad that Sharon Evans got injured... Hopefully he`s back for the WCH, but even then I don`t think he would be 100%. Huge blow for Canada. Argentina is not sending DeCecco, Conte, Poglajen,Sole...I understand playing against China and Korea is waste of time for Brazil...but Argentina is way far behind and for them playing against literally against anyone is a good thing so I don`t see why these "A" players are resting.

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

There`s a article on globoesporte.com with Renan and everyone complaining and saying VNL with 5 weeks in unhuman. ok...then so why is he ( Renan) sending all these 40 years old to play while he has a bunch of 20 years old that can play?? What a perfect opportunity to see what Alan, Thiago, Otavio, Joao Rafael can do against Serbia and Italy...but he goes ahead and send Bruno,William,Evandro, Wallace?? That`s pathetic....and watching William and Evandro sitting on the bench is embarrassing....at ...

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

Agreed. Britt Berbots is only 1.82cm .....basically same height as Kurogo 1.80cm. Drussyla is only 1.82cm as well... Gabi is only 1.80cm.....but the Japanese are just sooooooooooooooooooooo physically weak. Quoted from "sitenoise" Q) - Why doesn't bad-ass 18 yr/old #3 on Belgium have to play the "youngster with potential" card that 20 yr/old Japanese player Ai Kurogo does? A) - Because she is bad-ass. Really enjoyed Britt Herbots today (even though her team lost)

I was gonna write that I don`t think Koga will get there as she`s 25 already.....but then I decided to check her age to make sure.....and she just turned 22 yesterday...Ok I guess there`s time still.. Hopefully Kurogo develops a bit quicker.....

I think he is just some random guy doing the video check... ...yuck He`s not even cute ....at least not my type. Quoted from "ossubtus" yes, the ball touching the floor video review is new this time. but i don't think it's the hawk eye technology, that's only for ball in/out. the floor touch/pancake is a visual video replay, it seems. btw who's that bearded hipster dude that does some of the video review? he's .... yummy.

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

I`m watching the replay of Serbia vs Thai again and I realized that now they can challenge "floor touch" ...Mirkovic tipped a ball and ref gave Serbia the point, but Thai coach asked for challenge and it show that the ball touched the floor... and the same happened earlier with Bra vs Tur when Tandara attacked and the ball hit the floor, but the ref. did not call and they kept playing and Turkey won the point, but Ze Roberto went back and asked for the challenge and it showed the ball hit the fl...

I like when a player comes clean ...and I see Tandara doing that a lot...whenever she touches the ball during a block she goes a ahead and raises her hand...so there`s no need to waste time with the challenge. I think it was the game against Brazil that Mina Popovic had a HUGE touch ....but then they asked for a challenge...that was so stupid...she should just come clean and let her coach that she touched the ball....

Japanese NT 2018

Yeah I remember that now....But I don`t think she played the whole match right?? ....well they showed her sitting on the stands during the V-League finals and she looked super down....but on the court we only see the Japanese smiling...maybe that was just the "normal" Nagoka outside the court ....lol unless she`s practicing a lot....otherwise when she comes back she will be super out of rhythm, and jumping in the WCH right away is not a good thing...

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

Quoted from "JoanaBG" The biggest surprise to me is that Mirković (at least at this point) seems to have a more fluid connection with her hitters than Antonijević. I`m not surprised. I watched Chemik a lot this season..Mirkovic had a shaky start but she picked it up mid way through the season and became the starter and in the playoffs she already had a great connection with Veljekovic and she was even their best score a few times scoring more than Smarze. Mirkovic still give some bad sets but s...

Japanese NT 2018

I`m worried about Nagaoka....1 year without playing?? That`s a lot.....something is not right... Unless they want to make sure she will be back only when she`s 100%...but still it is concerning. And yeah you are about about the liberos ...not good at all for the Japanese. Quoted from "sitenoise" Quoted from "pope" They are not even fun to watch.... That's what's killing me. I really don't care if they lose games if they at least put up a fight. They are without Nagaoka and Nabeya, though, but wh...

Japanese NT 2018

The Japanese are such a mess right now...They are not even fun to watch.... They did beat Brazil and Serbia last year....so there`s still hope....but still...I don`t know.....Hard to believe they will have any chances against Brazil/Serbia and even Netherlands at the WCH.

2018 / 2019 Transfer Rumors & Discussion

I know, but I would assume Minas will get a percentage of this money...or not?? Like in soccer when a club sells out a player they make some $$ .... And he said they are willing to pay any fees....which means Minas could make them pay a lot to let Natalia go. Quoted from "Sidney" They are offering to pay Natalia $ 1 million, not to pay Minas.

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

I can`t believe Serbia lost one set for Serbia. Mirkovic did a nice job and is good that she`s showing she that she can play...does anyone knows if Zivkovic will be back?? I hope not... cuz I prefer Mirkovic. And both Ana and ZInkvovic are 29....while Mirkovic is only 22... Boskovic is not looking sharp...she looks tired and heavy, same for Mihajlovic. Belgium is really surprising everyone... same for Poland, if they were playing with Woloz I think they would be in contention for the Final 6. It...

2018 / 2019 Transfer Rumors & Discussion

Vow....Minas should not even think twice and take this offer. I don`t even know what`s the real/dollar but I would assume at least 3M in real....This is basically Minas winning the lottery. Would suck if Natalia leaves because Minas would be much weaker next season...but with the money they will make they can just sign someone else. Funny thing is that last season Fener wanted to renew with Natalia for 500K...but then Kim left and they were able to offer her 750k ( according to Bruno Voluch). An...
