2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

Quoted from "Sidney" Brazil will play with 90% of the OG roster. Considering that Serginho retired from the NT, it's basically the same team. Where's the next generation of Brazilian volleyball?

2018 / 2019 Transfer Rumors and Discussion

In my opinion player talent is 95% of a volleyball team's success. A coach's impact is small unless it is over a long period (3-4 years)

Japan NT 2018

Quoted from "saishuu" Did Shimizu retire from the NT? Surprised that three players are playing abroad. Quite unusual, isn't it? Shimizu is injured right now, unfortunately. And yes I imagine there was some internal discussion in the Japanese volleyball organization that they needed their players in foreign leagues to grow against better competition. Probably a lot of pressure in anticipation of Tokyo 2020.

USA Men's NT 2018

Definitely their easiest weekend so it makes sense to give those guys a bit of time off. Hopefully they don't drop an easy one

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

Quoted from "ryleybarnes" Canada lost their second friendly match against Poland 2-3 after leading 2-0. Maybe Antiga did not want to humiliate his former team. He put Brett Walsh in charge. And then the Canadians collapsed. Good experience for him since he is going to sit on the bench for the whole VNL. Hey, don't say that. He might come into block once a match

South Korea NT 2018

I did a preview for the Korean team in the VNL that can be found here "The best-case scenario for this team is that their roster meshes and plays in some competitive matches to gain some momentum as they look ahead to the rest of the summer. Maybe a young player emerges, but I really can’t see them finishing higher than anyone except Australia"

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

Quoted from "pope" anyone outside from the countries allowed to sign up for the FIVB channel tried singing up with a VPN? did it work? Seems like you only need a vpn to buy it, you can just close the VPN and watch without it

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

Quoted from "beri" I suggest everyone to not pay that $20 and not support this ridiculous FIVB. They don't deserve to get your money with such terrible organizations and it seems pointless anyway for most. @Bahkawdi not in Turkey either, but hopefully Serbian tv will keep broadcasting all matches... Broadcasting the games on youtube was a genius idea and one of the best things the fivb had going for it. We've seen lots of people become fans through those videos (including myself). I can't even ...

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

http://www.volleyball.world/en/vnl/news/fivb-and-img-partnership-takes-volleyball-over-the-top?id=74854 Seems like there will be no more games on youtube. Wonder what the price point will be and if they will improve the streams. IMO it would be paying like $5 a month if they get commentators for every game that isn't that Australian who doesn't seem like he even follows volleyball.

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

Quoted from "Rains" Sokolov may need a surgery according to Konstantinov. It's possible we might not see him play for Bulgaria in VNL. Treatment will be decided with Lube and Bulgaria staff and discuss if an operation or non-surgical intervention will be made. Who even is the Bulgarian backup opposite?
