2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

The results in Apeldoorn and Rotterdam were certainly with ups and downs.. Likely Buijs and Daalderop are not 100% fit, so that explains for some part why Buijs played so bad this week and Daalderop stayed outside court totally. I watched all matches on Dutch tv, and I must say I'm totally fed up with Grothues, after het comments in the post-match interviews....what an arrogant b*tch she is Now I understand why she has always troubles with the club she plays for...her character must be really ba...

2018 / 2019 Transfer Rumors & Discussion

Quoted from "eemurla" According an insider, Yvon Bellien signed with Besiktas. It will be the top transfer for the middle teams it seems. Also Alessia stayed in the team, the sweet surprise can be Besiktas next year with 2-3 good players added to the roster. Besiktas might be not as strong as Bursa's roster, but certainly Besiktas is much more fun to live in than Bursa..

Dutch NT 2018

Quoted from "Matthias" Polder reminds me a lot of De Kruijf in terms of playing style, and I think at the age of 20 she's even better than Robin was when she was 20, so I hope she can grow a lot and show her potential also in NT this summer. In my opinion she is a little bit more a player like Beliën she is a good server and she is better in blocking than attacking. I'm very curious where she will sign for upcoming season.. But, since Lohuis is also more a Beliën-type, I guess Morisson will try...

Dutch NT 2018

Quoted from "Serena" Quoted from "flyingdutchman" Quoted from "Serena" Quoted from "serdar" Why no Nika? Indeed. I think she is still recovering from her ankle-injury..or at least not ready yet for a match. The same for Robin de Kruijf, after her knee-sugery. Bongaerts arrived earlier than Stoltenborg at NT Camp, so that could be the reason why Femke is not in the roster. I hope to see Polder and Lohuis on court If I correctly understand (translate) the article in the Dutch press, Robin will no...

Dutch NT 2018

Quoted from "tunc" Why Kim Renkema had not any chance to show herself? And what about Meijners? Renkema retired as a player, she is now manager in Stuttgart. Meijners retired from NT in 2007...at the age of 20...

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "Sidney" Gizem was simply awesome. She was the best player of the match for me, judging by the tie break Fabris couldn't kill the most important balls Exactly.

CEV Champions League 2018

OMG what a match... Coneglaino 12-9 up....and Fabris has 2 chances to make 13-9....and she fails big time.... Zhu Ting on one leg is still too much for the opponent.... Melis...what a class.....

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2018/2019

Quoted from "ThomasHH" Britt Bongaerts, Lindsay Dowd, Tessa Polder, Karolina Pisla, Jelena Sunjic, Frauke Neuhaus and McKenzie Adams leaves Aachen. https://www.facebook.com/LadiesInBlackAa…433370773435114 Of course, it is a pity. But, it is no surprise at all. The market works like that. Only Vakifbank and Eczacibasi can keep their roster together.

Congrats to Schwerin. Schwerin was in the 2nd and 3rd game simply better, so a deserved champion! (What if...doesn't count -- > Daalderop).

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2017/2018

Quoted from "Matthias" Quoted from "Matthias" Stuttgart looks dead... And for now they're resurrected McCage's blocking is incredible, she gets her hands up there all over and has the technique to not be block-outed but roof the balls straight down The fact she will stay next season in Stuttgart is a little miracle. Hopefully Daalderop will stay as well.

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2017/2018

Quoted from "Matthias" Yesterday I read that the injury happened more than a week before the first final, so if it was just a minor injured she might be at least recovered to a point where she still feels some pain but isn't really limited by it...but still, I think they should be careful EDIT: Sandor and Mlejnkova are starting as expected. Could you give me the link to the article?

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2017/2018

Quoted from "Matthias" Surprisingly, Daalderop is today listed in the team roster on the electronic scoresheet. However I seriously doubt that she'll play...at least I hope they won't stubbornly risk her health 30 minutes to go... I totally agree. I can't imagine she has already fully recovered..(an ankle-injury at least takes 2-3 weeks)... She has a long summer with Dutch NT in front of her..
