Chinese NT 2018

Quoted from "sitenoise" Wu Han always gets robbed. I wish I could see it. Those Chinese QQ Flash nonsensical things never work for me. If you're speaking of the Final Jiangsu - Bring It Promotions, i was watching it on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVsGn-t7vXA and the Award Ceremony: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uhra7uCtWvA

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2018/2019

Quoted from "Matthias" Quoted from "FAME" Anna Pogany is leaving Sm'Aesch Pfeffingen (SUI) and might go back to the Bundesliga (which is no surprise). A little bit more surprising is that they could hire Dora Grozer for next season. I don't find it too surprising In the past a lot of German players who were eternal bench players in Bundesliga came to play in Switzerland, and despite being in NT last year, Dora never had a real breakthrough in Bundesliga, so I think it's not the worst choice to ...

CEV Champions League 2019

Seems like Prostejov will not participate in the Champions League (rather in CEV or Challenge Cup), at least as i understand the translation of an interview with their coach on their website: http://www.vkprostejov.cz/index.php?novinka=4157 That's a pity... was a nice team to root for in the CL. How many teams will have to say "NO" until CEV EVENTUALLY starts to "rethink" all its regulations and requirements for participation

Comparison of Strength of European Leagues

Quoted from "Dillio" Quoted from "StefanS" In an interview regarding going to a foreign league with Voleros professional team the club owner Stav Jacobi listed his personal list of stronger leagues than the swiss one: Turkish, Italian, Russian, Polish, French, Romanian, and German "Fun" fact I just heared from a swiss friend: After Sm'Aesch-Pfeffingen won the first game in the Finals (3:1) and was about to maybe get the 4th set in Zurich what would have meant a Tie-Break, Jacobi ordered the Coa...

Pesaro showed decent resistance yesterday. Watching Aelbrecht's enthusiasm always puts a smile on my face. Also liked Cambi.

2018 CEV Challenge Cup

Olympiacos seems to have a good team spirit, yes. Also quite a bit of continuity in their starting line-up and coaching, looks like they "only" changed their foreign OH duo before the season (and Poll and Niemer both seem to do fine). Also the slide attacks with Lamprousi are very nice to watch. Good serving is also a very important part of their success, IMO.

2018 CEV Challenge Cup

Krasnodar (with Sokolova) was ahead with 8-3 (?) in the tie-break but Olympiacos could close the gap with Hippe serving and eventually prevail. Should be an interesting 2nd match.

Poland - Liga Siatkówki Kobiet 2017/18

Quoted from "StefanS" Quoted from "FAME" Pity that Muhlsteinova got injured yesterday. In the other semi: Radom eliminated but showed quite good resistance vs. Grot Budowlani (at least during the little while i was able to watch). The stream requires flash, which is far too dangerous to use nowadays and is correctly not installed respective forbidden on many systems... OK, thanks for the warning, Stefan.
