2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

Quoted from "LDvolley" I do not know however whether this is good work from FEVA or just a brazilian decline. Probably both. But then Argentina goes and loses to freaking Venezuela in the South American Championship... But yes, Brazil is declining in both youth and senior level. I know the gold in Rio came, but the team is old and tired and not much is done to change that. They're too accomodated. As for Argentina, I'm curious as to how they'll perform with Marcelo Mendez soon.

FIVB VNL Challenger Cup

Quoted from "ossubtus" thanks, saishuu, right now there's nothing streaming... just a black screen.... Yeah, both games aired earlier tonight. Both games tomorrow (final and 3rd place) should be broadcast tomorrow too. Same goes for the men's tournament.

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

Quoted from "Leonardo.D" Cant believe how Argentina won the first set. Zanotti'serves were really good. But also Murilo helped a lot! So many mistakes in reception. It is sad to see such a legend playing poorly at the end of his career. Btw, why Renan Buniatti isnt in the roster? He is young, talented...Evandro is almost 40 It's like watching Giba all over again. lol Also Renan Buiatti is not that great. He's super inconsistent and unreliable, even on club level. I wish Alan would've been used ...

FIVB VNL Challenger Cup

This Puerto Rico team seems very weak unfortunately. No reception, no power in attack. Colombia leading 2-1 in the semi right now.

FIVB Challenger Cup 2018

What the hell happened to Estonia? Jesus... Final will be between Portugal and Czech Republic. I for one never expected either of these teams to ever make the VNL with this format and I agree that I don't see them adding much to the tournament, but it is what it is.

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

This schedule for the Australian leg is messing with my head. lol Given the discrepancy in timezones, Brazil is effectively playing two games today in our timezone (against Poland at 7AM earlier and later today at 11PM against Argentina).

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

Quoted from "Ryu Takamiya" Sander's young brother doesn't reach this level... He made 5 passing errors during this 10 minutes I was just about to comment on this. Poor guy couldn't even pass seemingly simple serves. ETA: having Holt, Langlois and Ensing on court at the same time is so odd lmao they all look alike

Brazilian Women's Super League 2018/2019

Quoted from "akitoakie" Quoted from "saishuu" Quoted from "ossubtus" little valeska is still playing? is bruna related to tandara? Yes, Valeskinha is still playing! Her team won the B league last season. And I don't think Bruna and Tandara are related. I doubt anyone from Tandara's family would ever play in Praia since she's persona non grata there. lol care to elaborate? i need some volleyball juice to sip. lmfao. She sued the club after playing there citing she was let go unfairly after getti...

Quoted from "australia1964" CAMBORIU replaces Londrina ? Yes. It's the same team, just in a different city. Like once Nordmeccanica moved from Piacenza to Modena.

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

Quoted from "inc0gnito" Has it been confirmed that Jacque will be converted back to OH to replace Drussyla in Final 6? From the few games I saw her in Barueri, I think she is still capable as OH and can still help the team. Yes. She's traveling to Japan right now.

Favorite Match(es) of All Time

I have three favorite games. Brazil - Russia (OG 2012 quarterfinal) There's no need to even explain why this is the best game I've ever watched. Brazil - Yugoslavia (WL 2003 final) Legendary 31-29 tie-break. Brazil - Italy (OG 2012, semifinal) I find this game incredibly underrated. Brazil simply destroyed Italy after Italy had done the same to the USA. It was really striking to me and it was quite possibly one of the best performances of Brazil ever. Also about embedding videos, use this format...

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

Quoted from "Rains" Quoted from "saishuu" Speaking of Jaeschke, is there any news on his injury? Torn ACL. No recovery times given but that's roughly 6-9 months after surgery. Like I thought. Too bad. Hope he recovers well.

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

Quoted from "Mapuan" USA was able to sweep their pool without dropping a set. This DeFalco kid is really something. Not the hardest hitter nor highest leaper but has very good VB IQ. If he can stay healthy, I can see him having the same success as Giba or Murilo. He should skip his last playing year of college and turn pro. Agreed. He has huge potential indeed. EUA really is having lots of success in the OH department lately with Sander, Russell, Jaeschke and DeFalco. Speaking of Jaeschke, is t...

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

Didn't watch the match, but it seems Vigrass was really impressive given his stats. 5/5 attacks, 5 blocks and 6 aces, more than double the points of the second best scorer.

2018 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)

Brazil is just in one of their very common ruts. It's unfortunate (as a fan) to watch, but it's not something I haven't gotten used to see. Not to mention France is on a whole another level right now. Hopefully they're able to bounce back against Bulgaria tomorrow at least.
