  • Unfortunately you gave wrong link- we have nothing in common with this project - someone makes a online manager with not realistic players and just use our reputation by nearly the same name- maybe not illegally but surely unfairly X(
    correct link:
    http://dhost.info/vbmanager/english/index.html - in english
    http://dhost.info/vbmanager/polish/index.html - in polish

    PS

  • What's the point of this game? What are the objectives? I tried playing it but I did not understand anything. I think this game is very interesting but I really cannot figure out how the game works.

  • Dont worry I will make you go step by step so you easily understand how to play

1)First you choose english by clicking Zmien jezyk gry and choose English . Then you click on Quick Start. It takes 25-40 sec to start the game on my computer
    2) Here you can start your career by choosing Add manager and selecting teams, difficulty level - remember you must name your manager

    3) To go to the next day you must click continue at the right bootom of the screen
3 is to continue to next day
4 current date of the game
5 The next rival and the next match
    4) If you want to play immediately you have to arrange friendly match so choose teams -click on Teams at the upper part of the screen and choose one of them you like(except your own team). Then you will see this

You click on play the friendly game and you must choose your squad and pay for it(the better opponent the more you must pay)
To negiotiate contract with a player he must be out of contract (there are no transfers like in football). Then you need to approve it and player is yours :D

  • We are glad to introduce a new version of Volleyball Manager 2008 (1.17). It’s a turning point in a VM history and the final result should satisfy even the fussiest players.

Above all in this version we added play-off phase and a new element of match tactic - pre-match briefing. As always new version is a bit faster then the last one (VM 2008 version 1.12) - we hope you will feel acceleration during game.

In the new version we prepared a new database, which starts the game in a new season (2008/2009). But you shouldn’t expect transfers of this transfer window implemented in our game – it’s surely too early for these kind of things to get happened. Especially no one knows where some of fair good players will go for next season – it’s a matter for Volleyball Manager 2009.

We add a south korean competition (league and cup) and verify some players’ skills after this season.

Our foreign users will be glad because we finally finished English version of Volleyball Manager 2008. We also add a beta-version of Dutch interface thanks to Stijn Poortmans.

VM 2009 is dedicated to Wojciech Sapiecha (nick: wojtas), game co-author, who passed away on October 18th 2009.

  • is there any women's league in the Manager 2009???

  • We work on new version but we had some serious problems like death of our database designer Wojciech "Wojtas" Sapiecha and then seriuos computer malfuction of his successor. So that's way new version is stillnot released. But in short time new version should be finally released.
A main change in new version is a new scout function- now players' skills will be hidden and you will be told about them thanks to
friendly matches and your scouts' work. The level of your scout system will be defined by monthly cost of this. For example in club like Sisley or Dinamo Moscow it would be a matter of about 50 k (50.000) euro per month but for clubs like worse polish club from Plusliga (adequate to french Pro A) it would a matter of 5-10 k per month. Of course if you spend more money you will be able to scout player from all over the world (about 3 players per week). If you spend less money you will be able to scout players from your country or only region (1 or 2 player per week). Only really wel known players like brazilian stars or playerslike that will have all their skills shown so scouting will be very important.
Secind change will be a new match engine in 2D- if you played in Championship/Football Manager games you will know what I
mean. If you have never played watch this screenshots

Third change is liquidation of something that was really ratty- series of points for one team Of course the are still series of point for one teambut not 8 or 10 points in row from 15-23 to 25-23 but not so nonsensical. We hope players will like this because we put some work in it.
