"Matey Kaziyski was elected as the best volleyball player in Europe for 2006, announced the European volleyball confederation. The 21 years old receiver of Dynamo Moscow won a bronze medal with Bulgaria from the 2006 World Championship in Japan. The former Slavia Jar Computers player has also grabbed the prize for the best server of the Mondial 2006 and was nominated for the Most Valuable Player(MVP) of the same championship, but eventually he finished at 3rd place in this standing. Moreover, he became a champion of Russia with Dynamo and played in the Final Four of Indesit Champions League with his club team. Kaziyski succeeded the award for the best player in Europe from the captain of Italian national team and Sisley Treviso- Alberto Cisola, who of elected for №1 in Europe for 2005."
