ACH Bled resting

Defending champion Hypo Tirol should be first favourite this year, Bled is weakened a lot, no more foreign players and Gasparini, brought dinosaur Gato from Padova. Slovakian volleyball is in raise, so Humenne and slovakian/bulgarian team from Austria Posojilnica could be real contenders this year. As usual, Croatian teams will be on bottom, especially Zagreb, IMO Mladost should make step forward, they showed decent volley vs CL team from Innsbruck this saturday.

As i said, Mladost on home court will be great, except Innsbruck and maybe Bled i dont see any visitor bringing points with them. Other teams are more or less the same as last year, only seems Vienna slump continuing, Salonit which is team for bottom of table this year beated them convincingly.

Extraordinary job by Mladost again, won on one of toughest courts in league, playing in elementary school hall, last year Posojilnica was almost unvincible. What a reinesscance of same team in one year, excellent job by coach Malevic. Also seems like mentally this team grew up, cause despite not converted several MP in set 4 they managed to stay focused in 5th. Congrats. Other results dont need comment, one way street for much better teams atm.

Seems like already top4 teams are crystallized after this round. Tirol is great, clear 4-0 with only one lost set (to Mladost). Mladost again convincing although not playing their best. its simply amazing how same 6 kids developed so much in one season, ecellent job. Vienna really poor this season, by far best player is old man Nemec. Zagreb remaining big disgrace, 40 pts in 3 sets, empty hall, empty bench, empty pockets, so Bled with 20% effort made easy win.

Best 4 teams played two derbys, and really was, dead matches, until very end. too bad there isnt draw in volley :p Chemes seems to be way below top, Salonit gave them big fight.

Mladost had 16 kill blocks in 3sets, demolishing. From other games big surprise Bled lost their first game,but on not heavy game, in Hungary.

Pretty much expected results in round 7. Bled repeated result from preparations, but Posojilnica showed little more resistance. Zagreb again lost one set on single digit, but vs bad Salonit was close to winning a set. Mladost continuing to shine, showing everything they lacked last year, now game turned from loosing to win, excellent. And today in austrian derby Tirol still unbeaten in league, but Vienna with new opposite Nagy (ex-Taranto and Friedrichshafen) will be much more competitive, they showed it today. But atm Tirol is still stronger.

Hypo game postponed for february, in remaining games 3 home wins, especially interesting Vienna rising with new players Nagy and Nojic, rotation is stronger, Sidelnikov work will soon be more visible. Also great game in Zagreb, Salonit showed best performance this year but despite that no win vs Mladost which had several missings.

Pretty surprising results, TIrol lost their first match, Bled isnt in great shape. Even more, Posojilnica in Slovakia, everyone expected them to win it. Salonit prooved they arent good this season and at the end, trashing in croatian derby, funny to watch that was

With this round begun second part of championship. Tirol showed that are best team in league, after destroying Noliko also Mladost didnt have a chance but all sets close, also Tirol saved some set points in set 1.Vienna disappointed, they showed raise of form lately and should have won in Slovakia, but failed. Worst two teams, Salonit and Zagreb continued loosing streaks. 4 more games to be played before new year.

Boring day in MEVZA, although not expected before games, especially in practically decisive match in Zagreb where Mladost trashed experienced Posojilnica. With this win, F4 is lot closer, although have hard schedule, Vienna and Bled waiting. Btw. it is decided F4 is playing in Vienna so only three places leads there cause Hotvolleys are automatically there. Especially cause of that todays Mladost win could be decisive.
