The teams presented the 0-2 forms for the 2009/10 season
The ACLAV Argentine A1 Men Teams League gets nearer and the 11 teams that have franchises to participate of it presented the 0-2 Forms. The first engagement involving all the teams will take place Oct. 17th, with the ACLAV Cup.

With the main stars of last season the teams reinforced their teams with great experienced player for the most important Men Team Tournament of the country. Some have included junior and youth men players that won the bronze medals at their 2009 World Championships in India and Italy.
The champion Drean Bolívar will maintain the seven main players included: William, Wallace, Spajic, Arroyo, Filardi, Guille García and Pablo Meana as líbero. But reinforced the team with Federico Pereyra, in his return to Argentine volleyball and Juan Martín Riganti, finalist of the Metropolitan tournament. The team coached by Javier Weber is one of the candidates to win the tournament once more.
La Unión de Formosa, will also keep last year's main players and will fight until the end with Milinkovic, Elgueta, Blanco Costa, Brajkovic, Tibaldo and Soldi. The main reinforcement of the team of the north of the country are the middle player André Radke, best blocker of last season and the libero Martín Meana, both coming from UPCN.
UPCN Voley Club will once more have great stars among its players, with Demián González as setter, Porporattto as middle player, Patti as wing spiker and Garrocq as libero. They also included the Brazilian Joel, Rómulo and Sousa. The team coached by Fabián Armoa will also try to reach the top of the tournament.
Chubut Volley will keep betting to the middle players duet López-Russo, Carlos Alaníz as wing spiker and Nacho Forastiero as libero. But also will include the return to the country of Diego Gutiérrez as setter and Hernán Zuravsky as opposite player without forgetting Miguel García as wing spiker - that returns to the team after one year, togetheer with Gonzalo Campaña and Pablo Guzmán.
Gigante del Sur will have among its players the historical Soto, Hernández, Sánchez and Macor. But also the strong reinforcements of Luis Gorosito and Jerónimo Bidegain, together with Franco Retamozo as wing spiker and Diego Fernández as libero, with the team trying to reach the top places once more.
Rosario will have mainly young players of the Club itself. Coached by Hernán Ferraro in his first coaching experience, the former setter of the National Men Team, Sonder Rosario will have also Peres Lopes, Ezequiel Sorgue and Matías Guidolín as main players well sparred by Lucas Tell, that arrived from Bolívar.
The return to the A1 League of Boca Juniors will be another of the extraordinary events for this season. The team coached by Marcelo Gigante returns afterr one year with the players that participated mainly at the Metropolitan tournament and the reinforcement of Giustiniano, Hatrick and Jorge Vaca Alvarez.
Puerto San Martín,after being the champion of the A2 League last season will make its debut with Jerónimo Nicola as main player together with Pepe Peralta, Federico Sorrentino, Gastón Álvarez and the libero Franco Massimino, former semi-finalist with La Unión de Formosa.
SOS Villa María, another of the new franchises coming from the A2 League will be under the coaching of the National Junior Men Team Juan Manuel Cichello, having amont its players Maxi Cavanna setting, Cristian Imhoff as opposite player, Estevan Cabrera as wing spiker and Tomás Layus as middle player.
After several years participating of the A2 League, Instituto Carlos Pellegrini will participate of the main men volleyball tournament with mostly local players. Also will be in the team from Tucumán the setter Javier Viegas, the wing spiker Andrés Ferreyra, the middle player Franco Giachetta and the libero Gastón Mujica.
Finally, Tigre Vóley will have its first participation in volleyball and hired important players. Coached by Guillermo Quaini it will have great names in its group with Deppiaggi and Bernasconi setting; Stepanenko, Gramaglia and Lares as middle players; Giani, Pesci and Concina as wing spikers, Pinha as opposite player and the great return of Mariano Baracetti as líbero of the team.
And if all these is not enough to talk of an interesting fought and hard league, the bronze medal winners will also participate at the 200009/10 League and they are Pablo Hruby and Ricardo Ferreiro in Chubut; Sebastián Solé and Juan Ignacio Macció in Rosario, Pablo Crer, Cristian Poglajen, Rodrigo Ronda and Franco López in Villa María; Nicolás Bruno in Boca and Rodrigo Aschemacher in Bolívar. Ten of the twelve winners participating of the great Argentine tournament.
With reference to the bronze medallist of the youth team, nine of the twelve will also be included and they are: Sebastián Solé. Juan Finolli and Javier Vega in Formosa; Iván Castellani and Facundo Hehn in UPCN; Bruno Vinti in Rosario; Andrés Ribone and Leonardo Plaza in Villa María and Gustavo Vaca Álvarez in Tigre.
