So far, it seems that there are 2 teams above the rest, Maccabi Tel-Aviv the champions that will face Ziraat Bankasi Ankara in the 2nd round of the Challenge Cup and Hapoel Mate Asher, Tel-Aviv with 5 wins and Mate Asher with 5 wis and 1 lose.
Beneath them, trying to make it to the final four are Hapoel Kfar Saba and Maccabi Arazim, each with 4 wins and 2 losses.
Another team that will fight with Kfar Saba and Arazim is Kiryat Ata that has 3 wins and 3 losses.
Not a lot of foreigners this season over here because of budget limits, Tel-Aviv has 2 argentinians (Nico Efron and Mauricio Arrua), Mate Asher also has 2 but Brazilians (Fred Teixeira and Joelson Barbosa), Kfar Saba has a canadian young guy named Josh Boruck and Arazim is playing on young Israeli basis with 2 guys ffrom the youth national team that seem to be amongst the best here in their position.
All in all, this year the league is based more on young talents and luckily there are a few over here, some will for sure play in bette leagues, so watch out hahah
