Okay, I guess Germany is eventually going to win (3-2). but they've got some problems to solve.
Germany needs better OHS. Brinker is too unstable, and Beier is too weak (although Beier recieves well) through this match, Ssuschke is the only one who helps kozuch. also as Matthias mentioned, hopefully Germany looks for a better setter than Weiss as soon as possible. (I'd personally like to see Mareen Apitz ) -

...and the damn stream stopped in the beginning of tiebreak

17-19.
Ger 2 - 3 Dom
-
well, things happen...
Beier played really bad, she only got 3 points by attack even though she played the whole sets... -
Dom setter scored more attacks than Beier, and even though Brinker made a lot of points I think she made about twice as many errors. Kozuch can't do everything alone, if WGP goes on like this she will be out of power very soon. I've never been a very big fan of Conny Dumler but now seriously I wish she had not quit volleyball!!!
-
The performance of German OHs is completely embarassing. We better get Hanka Pachale and Sylvia Roll back to NT.
If you get Hanka Pachale back I might find myself supporting Germany
Sorry Marieke!

'Kozuch can't do everything alone, if WGP goes on like this she will be out of power very soon' ---> it's exactly the same in Dutch NT for Flier...

Germany is playing very badly. when i watched them playing in Montreux i thought they would play better in the rest of season...But untill now they are playing in the same level..Last season, Beier played good games, but now she is a second libero in Germany..Brinker has some good moments with a lot of bad, but she is the "best" OH in Germany..
I liked Nadja Schaus in this game against Dom..It looks like she is getting better in this new position. Kozuch is the only one that is playing better than last WGP..If Germany wants to be in F6 thay should win especially USA and Japan.
I think Petrausch and Hippe should have more oportunities, especially because Brinker and Beier are not playing well. -
Oh..I really don't know what to think about Germany...For sure they have a great libero, opposite and middle blockers (especially when Furst will be back). Even Nadja Schaus is quite interesting player. As for I know she didn't play as middle blocker in Bundesliga so it's nice that she can play on high level now.
Weiss as setter isn't so bad and it shuldn't be a problem too. I think there is some to change on position of OH. Beier is good in reception but she has weak attack. Brinker isn't so good receiver but she comitts many errors in attack too...Maybe Brinker is a player who should leave starting six ?? What abaout Zautys? Is she so horrible in reception ? The best solution is comeback of Grün who can play as OH.(I think that it's quite probably because she don't achieve great results in beach volley World Tour... ) Maybe she isn't better receiver than Brinker but she's better attacker.

I still cannot believe that our girls won that game against USA!! It was so emotional. Kasia Skorupa showed how good she is, I'm really happy, that she is back.
And also i still cannot stop watching these: http://www.fivb.org/EN/Volleyb…andingP.asp?Tourn=WGP2010
and Poland at the 2nd place at the moment. I don't really remember when it was so good. -
we are ahead of Brazil Italy Holland etc
love this standing have nothing against that it remains the same until the end xD -
I don't think Grün will be back..here in Brazil we had some players that decided to play in Beach volleyball and even without great success they kept playing there. But if she comes back to Nt it would be so nice. she is better than Beier and Brinker together
-
33 points by Margareta Kozuch. She is amazing.
-
I just came back from the match ( i was also yesterday but it was easy 3-0) I'm really surprised by the unforced errors 23 to 9 9it didn't seemso from the crowd . we should loose this on easily but i think that the atmosphere in the hall helped a lot it was amazing today

Aaaa! It was so great to be among fantastic Polish supporters in Gdynia. Really emotional match against Germany and US. Kozuch made the biggest progress. However Brinker is not playing that bad too. Nice digs and serves. But I believe that Guidetti will do something from this team as always. Dominicana was not that bad as I thought. Eve is their best player now. Echenique is terrible. Very inaccurate, Priscilla Rivera really weak too. I am really surprised that they won over Germany. Especially with chaos in organisation of their play. US team will be great next year. D.Hooker is outstanding, however she looks bit weird -she is skinny and I ve got impression that she had some surgery around her forehead. If she puts on weight and become more athlete she can be even better, but it is definitely the biggest talent in American NT. Very impressing was also Glass, but huge mistake when she "attacked" from second ball. She will get better definitely, but cooperation with MB was really impressing. Really fast, really high. Akinradewo played very well. The problem is on OH position. The trio Larson-Hodge-Barboza is quite talented, but I am really surprised by Hugh and his rotation system. Definitely the weaker Larson in first six and much better Barboza as subsitute. The only positive about Larson is strong serve (but what was even more surprising Barboza was replacing her only for serving, definitely weakest point of Barboza) and blonde hair. She should not play in first six. M. Hodge much more better.
Poland was amazing. They were still quite slow, but they manage to win. I don't think that J. Kaczor will play as OH any more. However she performed on Friday and Saturday much better as spiker than Skowronska. Kosek was incredible. Especially on Sunday, when Skorupa sets very low (under the net) to her and even though she was able to score. I am waiting when Skowronska will be back. I hoped she is in better shape after first amazing set against Germany, but after then it was the same story, hitting without any idea just in front of her. Hope she will get back to her huge form. Baranska is a treasure for Polish NT. She had the shortest period of preparation because of wedding, but during weekend she was stunning. I am also bit disappointed with Sadurek. Skorupa is very fine, but desperately needs more training with Kosek.I haven't watched any other matches, just a few moments from Brazil-Italy, however it seems to be the weakest WGP ever. Puerto Rico, Thailand, Dominicana (without stars), Thai-pei. 4 weak teams and not really strong this year Netherlands and Germany, average US. It is a shame that such teams like Puerto-Rico or Thai-Pei are getting chance, when there is much better Russia, Serbia, Cuba or even Turkey.

One thing I have to say, Jerzy Matlak is a very smart man. He realized very quickly that it won't work using Kaczor as OH and receiving with two players. In my opinion Poland played much better with Kosek as OH and it leaves the chance to replace Skowronska when she has problems. I just wish the various coaches of Seda Tokatlioglu would follow Matlak's example!!!
