    With the Qualifying Round of EuroLeague Women wrapping up on Wednesday FIBA Europe has announced the official rankings of the sixteen teams that will advance to the Eighth-Finals and the resulting match-ups.
    Three-time defending champions Spartak Moscow Region, who finished the Qualifying Round a perfect 10-0, ranked first followed by rivals UMMC Ekaterinburg and Wisla Can-Pack who lost just once.

    Wisła is capable of eliminating Czech team and is favorite for me (but I wouldn't say: a great favorite). It would be nice to see some Polish team in the Final 4 after several years break.

    Hmm I think Brno has 60% to be in Final Four. They play good basketball and eliminated one of the strongest Teams in Spain Madrid. They attacked in one of four parts very strong and controlled then match.

    The Quarter-Final Play-off match-ups in EuroLeague Women were set in stone on Wednesday night as the third games in three Eighth-Final clashes were played to determine the teams to advance.

    The Quarter-Final Play-offs will also be played as best of three series with the higher seeded team after the Qualifying Round enjoying home court advantage in a potential game three.

    Two Spanish and two Russian teams advanced with the Spanish rivals Ros Casares Valencia and Halcon Avenida Salamanca facing each other.

    Three time defending Champions Spartak Moscow face Turkish giants Fenerbahce Istanbul and last year's Final Four participants UMMC Ekaterinburg take on Slovakian surprise package Good Angels Kosice.

    In the last match up Wisla Can-Pack Krakow, who entered the competition late to replace CSKA Moscow take on Czech giants Frisco Sika Brno who beat higher seeded Rivas Ecopolis on the road in game three on Wednesday.

    For me basketball is team sport number 4 (after football, handball and volleyball), but I'm very glad with this result.

    fenerbahçe !!! i dont understand this is the 4th or 5th year that we cant pass from 8 to f4 :( i don't want to play with the russian teams next year ... at the group stage and at the quarter final !!!
