I'm sorry, so this euro wasn't so good for polish, they couldn't defend the two titles. But that's the game. When is the final, I hope Italy will win, although serbia are good team.

Why - they need World Cup "wild card" together with Russia,
if not Italy and Russia or Serbia must qualify directly from World Cup,
and Netherland or remaining team above Poland in FIVB ranking must qualify from European Tournament otherwise Poland will not go to International Tournament in Japan next year. :cry2:

congrats to italy.each of the players of the italian team played wonderful.lo bianco,barazza,gioli,del core,secolo,cardullo and AGUERO they were wonderful.unfortunately the only thing ı can be happy for about this ECH is that two great players of that tournamant will play in our leauge this season.VESNA (probably the best blocker) and AGUERO (probably the MVP).our team didn't do well in this championship.ı am looking forward to watching these two bests play live.

Italy is one of my favorite teams. They played without Anzanello, Togut, Rinieri, Centoni... I thought they wouldn't be so strong... I'm very happy! 
But I'm also angry on polish nt!! 
Congratulations to Italy. It's not a surprise for me. Silver medal for Serbians is more they could have expexted.
By the way Nastja, you're writting only about other teams. And what do you think about German team? Is the 6th place everyting what German could have won? I know they had hard group in second stage, but...?

well... if they had a better draw they could have reached the semifinal stage... playing against italy and then russia is not the best for a team.
But i dont know. Germany has strong players, such as Grün, Fürst, Bouagaa, Kozuch, Dumler Tzscherlich etc... Either way the coach cant use this, or the girls cant implement it on the court.
Im not rooting for the german team (since i have a german citizenship but a different origin: Polish/russian) thats why i dont write much about them :wink2:

what about the organization itself?ı think it was awful,from web site to the referees everything was awful in this ech.ı heard that the hotels were also terrible.some bags of some players in charloroi were stolen.the spectators there weren't enough spectators even in the final match.and finally nobady talked about it but ı hated the new ECH SYSTEM.there isn't classification matches which ı also enjoyed to watch.for example ı would like to watch a game between germany and holland for 5th place.every country would like to watch as many matches of their national team as they could.for example spain,spanish volleyfans watched only 3 games of their teams.cev constatntly keeps creating new systems which ı hate.unfortunately this UNFAIR system will be used in the next three ECHs.

I know Barazza played above the expectations but statisticaly Citakovic had more blocks. Maybe the number of sets they played effects the result

Totally agree, Belgium couldn't prepare for EC. I can add that 2 star hotels for teams...it'smth new. Girls like Gamova, Merkulova had to sleep on beds with length of 180cm :shock: and rooms where only one person can move because rooms were tiny. And many small moment, I don't want to count them, but only one thing really shoked me. In match Russia - Azerbaijan as we all know Elena Parkhomenko was injuried. So, nobody of organizers cared about this situation. While timeout I heard how Garaev asked his assistant to learn how much money would it cost to ride her to the hospital and to find somebody who would do it, man, it's first time I see such situation...
System is indeed awful, I agree with you at 100%.
