    In order to do this open the folder Data and find a file called VM_dbase_2014_15_editable or VM_dbase_2014_15_final_ (for new database)
    Then please unpack it by using WinRAR or other application - except file called info marked with star- you cant unpack this file without password so just unpack only the rest
    Make changes with one of the XML editor
    Save the changes and pack it again as a file with the same name VM_dbase_2014_15_editable or VM_dbase_2014_15_final _ (just overwrite it)

    Check whether you typed wrong informations like giving player a single skill more than 20, wrong date of birth, club number etc. Its time costing because you need to check all changes from time that game worked

    I am pleased to inform all fans of Volleyball Manager that they managed to create a solution that helps deal with the error that appeared to some after a few seasons around the end of May. A message with an "index going beyond the board's boundary" was a nail in the casket for most careers. Some lucky players were able to overcome their mistakes by resigning from the national team, others had to hide their careers deep on the disk, or simply move to the trash. People who have not doubted and did not delete records can now continue playing.

    To continue the game you need a new "exe" file that can deal with the "index" mentioned above. Step by step instructions below:

    1. The "Volleyball Manager (FIX) .exe" file should be extracted into the game folder (next to the standard exe files that starts the game).

    2. Run the game from a new file.

    3. Load broken save.

    4. Now you can click 'Continue' or use the calendar. I suggest scrolling the date a few days, preferably until the next meeting of our team (if we run it)

    5. Then save the career (I recommend using a different name).

    6. Close the game and restart, but this time from the correct file (without FIX).

    7. If everything went well, we can continue the meetings or simulate the next days.

    8. If another error occurs, proceed in the same manner.

    The new exe file is not intended for further play - even if someone tries to keep playing, the game will throw an error when it comes to playing the match. I don't know how it will behave in the next weeks of simulation (other elements of the game may cause a new error). That's why I recommend jumping to the day immediately before the match of our national team if we train any. In the case of the club itself, I suggest jumping over a week and trying to continue playing on the original game file. If the error persists, then try repeated intervals.


    I do not give 100% certainty for every record. For now, I managed to fix 3 careers in this way. The solution definitely requires more extensive testing, especially over a longer distance. In the test careers I managed to play another month without errors. If someone still has the same problem, please let me know - I recommend our group on Facebook.

  • 2. OVERVIEW OF MAJOR GAME OPTIONS

    2.1. Starting the game

    You can start a new game in two ways. Either using the "New Game" button or using the "Quick Start" option. The quick start option is available from the main game window. It was constructed for those less patient players and those whose hardware requirements did not allow comfortable use of the "new game" option. However, using the quick start has some disadvantages. When using the "new game" button, many game elements are defined that are not defined before it starts. These include European cup draws, European Championship or World Cup qualifiers, player data created by the game, and club draw colors. Using the quick start option causes that the above-mentioned data are already predefined and each time you start a new game using it will be the same. Using the new game option increases the diversity of each new game, but puts the player's computer more demanding when creating it. After choosing a new game, the game will start loading and processing game data in one of two ways, which, depending on the computer's options and speed, "can take from a few seconds to up to several minutes - with very weak machines". During this time, be patient and "do not make any moves in the game window", regardless of the message that the game is not responding. After some time, the correct game window and the first messages will appear, which means that the game is ready for further work.

    2.2. Taking up a manager / coaching position (primary and secondary)

    If we want, we can immediately take the job of a manager of one of the teams or a team selector. How to do it is described in one of the following sections of the guide. If we want we can wait for the development of the situation and start club or representation work later. We can also start the game as an unemployed manager, which involves finding a job, discussed later in this section.

    Taking up the position of manager / selector is possible by using the add manager button in the main tab of the game. After pressing it, a place appears to enter your name and surname, and from the lists listed in the window select the teams or team you want to lead. At the same time, you can assume the function of club manager as well as the national team coach. It is also possible to run the club itself or just run the national team. To do this, use the appropriate check boxes. The club is selected using two lists, one of which indicates the league and the class of which club we choose, while the other presents the clubs available in it. After making the selection, confirm with OK.

    The game starts on the first of the possible days for the season. To go to the next day / days, press the continue button. After a while - its length depends on the class of our computer and the amount of data needed to process, the game will go to the next day, which will be notified by a change in the date displayed in the main window, and often also new messages.

    You can opt out of running previously selected teams at any time. To do this, press the "end career" button in the main game tab and accept the decision by pressing the OK button. This ends the game.

    Another available option is the option of "giving up running a club or representation", which from version 1.24 does not involve the end of a career. In this situation, the manager simply becomes unemployed and must start looking for a new job.

    In the current version of the game, the functions of both the club manager and the team selector can be carried out without any time limits. However, there are exceptions to this rule. The first of these is when a club where you are a manager goes bankrupt. Then the manager is dismissed from him. The second case of the possibility of dismissal is not achieving satisfactory sports results in the opinion of the board. Therefore, the player should control the opinion of the board about his work. In this regard, the following are possible ”’ attitudes of the management board to the manager's work results:

    - frustration

    Anger

    - dissatisfaction

    - disappointment

    - restraint

    - neutrality

    - optimism

    - contentment

    - full confidence

    - delight

    - worship

    The lower the level of satisfaction with the manager's job, the higher the likelihood of dismissal.

    After the end of each season of the game, the manager faces the need to renegotiate the manager's contract, which allows him to increase his appanatuses, however, it may also involve the termination of his employment contract, which is why his financial requirements should be reasonable and take into account the club management's assessment of achieved sports results.

    If you start playing as an unemployed manager or lose your job as a club or national team coach during the game, you will have to look for a job. To make it easier for him to find out what positions are available in the manager tab, the game includes a sub-tab of the labor market in which three types of position availability can be displayed:

    - vacancy as a trainer

    - manager's job at risk

    - dissatisfaction with the work of the trainer

    The first of these options means that the job is free and the player can apply for a job in the club or team. By applying by submitting an offer in the club's window, the player specifies the monthly salary he expects for the club and for each match in the case of representation. After submitting the offer, the player must wait until his offer is considered and compared with other offers on the market and if accepted, he will be asked to confirm or refuse to sign the employment contract. Once approved, the player becomes the team manager. The decisive argument for hiring or not having a manager in another club will be his level of experience scaled from 1 to 20 - the larger the club, the higher the level of experience will be.

    The player can of course try to change the club or representation while working in another club, but must remember that this can cause negative reactions on the part of the club management and lead to a decrease in the level of satisfaction with the manager's work and, as a result, even dismissal from the club.

    3. TRAINING

    Training is one of the most important roles of a team manager. There is a need to control it yourself in the game. There is no option thanks to which the computer will manage the training for us. The only exception is the role of the selector, where the selector boils down to the role of a coach calling players, determining tactics and managing the team during the match. Therefore, training only belongs to the duties of club coaches (managers).

    4 sliders located in the manager's team tab, in the "Finance / Training" sub-tab, are responsible for setting the training. They are divided into two groups.

    The first are responsible for the physical preparation of the players, the second for the other aspects of training, i.e. tactics, individual technique and mental training. Appropriate distribution of accents into individual elements of training is one of the keys to achieving good sports results. A well-conducted training is conducive to keeping the players high disposition, both in terms of condition and form. If the training is conducted poorly, then it quickly affects the poor condition of the players - it begins to fall below 90 percent, as well as a low form, which takes values less than 11. It should also be remembered that good training is the appropriate stimulation for the development of young players, maintaining the skills of middle-aged players and stopping rapid aging and falling parameters in older players. Badly conducted training is a reverse process: numerous injuries, which inhibit the players' development, and often even a decrease in their parameters; rapid aging of age players.

    There is no universal training method. Training should be adapted to both the level of players and competition. It is known that in the lower classes the level of professionalism is also lower, so players cannot train as much as their colleagues from fully professional competitions. It is assumed that about 7 training points (each of them symbolized by balls with training sliders) more or less corresponds to the load of players one training per day, which seems to be optimal for fully professional teams during the season. In addition, the loads associated with preparation can be greater, mainly with increased strength and endurance work, which is physical preparation for the season.

  • 4. FINANCE

    4.1. Maintaining financial liquidity

    Maintaining the club's financial balance is one of the most important tasks of a manager. In the latest version of the game, it has been somewhat simplified compared to previous versions by increasing the initial sum on the club's account, which makes it very difficult to quickly bankrupt. However, every manager should also balance the club's income and expenses.

    4.2. Strategic Sponsor

    Among the revenues, the first place is taken by the benefits obtained thanks to the contract concluded with the club's strategic sponsor. A club can have only one strategic sponsor. The amount he offers depends on the club's reputation - which is determined by league level, team sporting achievements, and board members' skills. Such an agreement is concluded for a period of at least one month and includes a duration of months and an amount for each month. This amount will be reduced in the event of a fall to a lower division class and similarly in the case of promotion. Most clubs already have a strategic sponsor at the start of the game, but if a particular club does not have one then finding it determines the chance of balancing the club's budget and avoiding the necessary sharp cuts in expenses to prevent inevitable bankruptcy. When negotiating a contract with a potential strategic sponsor, it should be borne in mind that sponsors of this kind report to even the most recognizable club relatively rarely and most often before the start of the next season. That is why during the talks one should not increase the amount proposed too much, as it may cause break of talks and, as a consequence, probably the need to play the season without a strategic sponsor.

    4.3. Advertisers

    Advertisers are an important component of each club's budget, often bringing in revenues slightly less than those we receive from a strategic sponsor and subsidies from the city budget. As before, the amount of the contract depends primarily on the club's reputation, successes and the skills of board members. An element of happiness also plays an important role, because even the best-run club may have problems finding sponsors. The maximum number of advertisers with whom we can conclude contracts is 5, and the next contract can be concluded only after one of the contracts has expired, because no one will contact us before. Similarly, this applies to the strategic sponsor. When negotiating with advertisers, you can demand a higher amount than offered, by about 10%, and in the case of very favorable financial conditions, try to maximize the duration of the contract, but within reasonable limits. Here, breaking off negotiations as a result of demanding excessive conditions is not so disastrous for the club's budget, because single sponsors are not the basis of the budget, and on the other hand - especially in more well-known clubs, they report quite often and there are no great problems with free advertising spots.

    In the case of both the strategic sponsor and sponsors buying advertising spots, there is no rigidly defined minimum and maximum amount that we can get this way - for each team and in each situation it will look different.

    4.4. Subsidy from the city budget

    Income to the club's cash register is also obtained from subsidies from the city budget - their amount is usually similar to the cost of maintaining the club. Subsidies from the city occur for each club and are set before the start of the season. It is not possible for the city to refuse to sponsor the club for any reason, but certainly in the event of a promotion or decline this amount will be reduced or increased.

    4.5. Profits from games

    If we are successful in competitions, we can obtain significant profits from the match bonuses that are provided for them (rewards and profits from competitions) In the event that they are top places in European competitions or the highest league competitions, they can be a serious injection of cash. Each match in each official competition is rewarded separately, and the amount of the bonus depends on the win, the rank of the match and the opponent's class.

    4.6. Expenses

    Currently, it consists of only 3 components: club maintenance costs and expenses for players' salaries. As of version 2010, expenses also include expenses for scouting displayed under expenses for salaries

    The structure of expenditure in the latest version has been simplified - currently it consists of only 2 components: the cost of maintaining the club and 2 expenditure on salaries for players. In the future, the spending structure will be more expanded, most likely in the direction known from earlier versions of the game.

    he club maintenance costs include the costs of maintaining the club infrastructure not specified in the game: the salaries of the club's administrative and technical staff, the salaries of the training staff, the team's travel costs for matches and other minor expenses. These costs are included in the monthly period and after the start of each month are deducted from the amount in the club account.

    The management board concerned about the high costs of maintaining the club will at some point offer us the use of remedies in the form of selling some shares, which at the same time reduces the cost of maintaining the club, but at the same time it reduces the club's reputation. Therefore, one should seriously consider whether cutting or expanding the club's infrastructure is really needed.

    Player salaries are the most important burden on the club's cash register. They are determined on a regular basis in daily settlements and in the case of employment or dismissal of a player, this amount is updated on an ongoing basis and then deducted each day. If a player is hired during the season, the actual salary is that part of the sum of the contract that will be paid by the end of the season, and therefore only part of the amount offered. In the event of termination of the contract, the amount of compensation due in this respect is immediately deducted from the club's cash register.

    Usually, in financially weaker clubs, instead of employing players with very high financial requirements, it is better to hire younger and much cheaper players and then work on their development. Often, only a little higher player skills go hand in hand with much higher financial requirements, so it pays to employ older and weaker players, but a lot cheaper especially on the bench, from which they will not quite often enter the field. You should also think about the size of our team, which does not have to be the maximum number of players, i.e. 18.

    In the new version, for the possibility of playing sparring, an appropriate fee should be paid, withdrawn from the club account on an ongoing basis. For example, in PLS, this amount ranges from several to several dozen thousand. Euro, with a minimum of 2 thousand. euro. Obviously, it is more expensive to bring in a foreign team as a sparring partner. These fees can be high, so you should consider the sense of playing a large number of sparrings.

    4.7. Reactions to the club's financial situation - club management and players

    So far in the game there is a strict division of competences between the club manager on the one hand and the club management headed by the president on the other. As a manager, the player has full freedom to dispose of funds, but if there is a big difference between income and expenses and as a consequence there is a debit, the controlling function of the board is activated. Every 2 months, the management sends an official warning calling for a balanced budget and liquidation of the debit, and after 6 months of uninterrupted debit, declares bankruptcy. At the same time, players concerned about the insolvency of the club can quickly declare a protest threatening after 2 months to terminate the contract through the fault of the club and boycott matches.

    4.8. Bankruptcy and its consequences

    After 6 months of uninterrupted debit on the club's account, the club management instead of giving 3 more warnings announces the bankruptcy of the club. The consequence of bankruptcy is the immediate termination of the management of the team and the end of a manager's career. In this case, you can only add another manager and take over the next team in the same game. If a given player simultaneously leads the team, together with the bankruptcy of his club, the player does not continue to lead the selected national team.

  • 5. TRANSFERS AND EXTENSION OF CONTRACTS

    5.1. Employment of a free transfer player

    For our own club we can only hire a player who is free, i.e. without a club, in this and subsequent versions it will be excluded to download players who have signed contracts. This situation arises from the fact that these are the rules of the volleyball transfer market, where transfers between clubs are very rare.

    Signing a contract with free players differs in this version from others in that in previous versions the player immediately accepted or rejected the offer. Now you will have to wait for his decision. During this expectation he will be waiting for competitive offers to ours. To make an offer to a player, enter his profile and select the suggest contract button. In the new window, declare the height and length, and then accept by pressing OK. After some time, the player may reject our offer, signaling that he has accepted another one and then the matter of his transfer is already decided. However, he may announce that he rejects the offer, but will still be waiting for others. Then, if we really care about this player, we can make him an offer again, of course, higher than the last.

    The list of offers submitted by us, along with their status and amount, can be found in the tab of the led team.

    It may happen that the player accepts the offer we have made. When this happens, we must re-enter his profile, where the "Sign contract" option will appear instead of "Sign contract" and then click it. Then a message will appear asking if you really want to sign a contract with this player.

    5.2. Extending the contract with your own player

    About a month before the end of the contract, each club, i.e. rival and manager, has the right to propose to their players an extension of the contract - which often happens in the game.

    To extend a contract with a player, proceed in the same way as when submitting offers to new players. The procedure is the same. When the contract is extended, on the player's card, the duration of his contract with our club should increase by the amount negotiated.

    5.3. Financial aspects of signing contracts

    As can be seen from previous descriptions, there is no possibility of employing a player with a valid contract in the game, while players who do not have a valid contract can be hired at any time. If a player is hired during the season, the actual salary is that part of the sum of the contract that will be paid by the end of the season, and therefore only part of the amount offered. In the event of termination of the contract, the amount of compensation due in this respect is immediately deducted from the club's cash register. For completeness. The maximum contract length is 5 seasons, the minimum salary we can offer is 1 thous. EUR per season and the maximum salary is EUR 5 million.

    5.4. Transfer list support

    The transfer list provides the player with many new opportunities to search for a specific player. We can look for players from the country of their choice, the position of the contract length chosen by them and the parameters of their choice - among which is also the average skill of the player.

    You can also search for players by some string of letters. It is also possible to save search results from the transfer list to a file in html format.

    6. TRAINING TEAM - ASSISTANTS AND MANAGERS OF OTHER TEAMS

    From the version of Volleyball Manager 2012 in the game there will be the opportunity to hire a training staff member in the form of an assistant manager who will have an overall assessment of his skills on a standard scale of 1 to 20, which will depend on his financial requirements as well as his suitability as a helper for us.

    In addition, in this version there will also be for the first time real personalized managers of other teams not led by the player, whose skills will be rendered on a scale of 1 to 20, which will essentially depend on the quality of their work on the basis of signing contracts and selecting players as well as the ability to conduct trainings as well as respond to the coaching bench.

  • 7. TACTICS

    7.1. Match selection

    At the beginning we assign players to a specific place in the composition. This can be done before the match in the "Teams" tab of the "Tactics" sub-tab using the Squad Change button. Of course, you can use the services of an assistant, but remember that it can be fallacious, so it's always good to control the composition it designates. The final setting of the team can also be prepared in the match window, even before the start of the meeting, using the "Change Player" button in the tab labeled by the name of the team manager. When choosing a squad it's best to follow the player's form, but don't forget about his fitness as well as his skills. In volleyball, the following setting is preferred: P1 - the host with a better attack than P2

    S2 Middle with better attack skills

    You should pay close attention to the selection of reserve players in our team. They are supposed to be not clogged-holes, but valuable and tactically thought-out substitutes. When choosing players, it's worth remembering that one of them would be taller, it can be useful as an asset in tactical changes. Recommended for the deputy feeling in the block and good service.

    - As for the host, it is worth having a fully universal player. Maybe not outstanding in the attack, but rather effective and at the same time endowed with a good game at the party, and rather a certain service. The second one can be a high attacker and a low host - one in difficult moments will also be very useful.

    - The middle reserve should, above all, be fairly balanced when it comes to attack and block. If one of these elements is predominantly a block. His entrances under the net at the ends of sets can then turn out to be a great tactical move.

    - Reserve attacker. It should be chosen depending on the former. So that they both complement each other. If one is a strength player, the other should have a little volleyball sophistication and technique. It's good if both of them have an interesting service.

    7.2. Tactics - general comments

    Volleyball, like many other sports, is based on the consistent implementation of tactical sentences during the match. For this reason, it becomes very important to prepared tactics - always under a specific rival, think before the meeting. Sticking to it during the match, if the tactics are chosen correctly, is generally a good way to final success. However, one should not forget that changing tactics at key moments can often surprise the opponent, thus giving the manager team an advantage.

    Match tactics can be set before the match - in the profile of the team being led, just like before the match, in the match engine window. The third solution is to load and save your own tactics to a file, which reduces the time to set tactical tasks. To use this option, use the "load" and "Save" tactics located in the match engine.

    7.3. Tactics and players changes

    Tactics can be changed during the match in the following situations:

    - Technical breaks

    - Breaks at both coaches' request

    - Between consecutive sets of meetings

    Player changes can be made at any time during the match, just like at any time you can request a break on demand for your team. Remember! You only have 2 on-demand breaks and 6 changes, including return changes, in one set.

    7.4. Mental preparation

    Goal and motivation settings are responsible for the mental preparation of the team for the match. There are many ways to choose them. General rules should refer to the strength of the rival. If it is too easy, there is no point in motivating our players too much, because it can have the opposite effect, especially if the match does not go our way. The situation is similar with ordering the team to win or defeat their opponent. If it turns out that we get a leg in one of the sets, then the players' psyche begins to play tricks on them and the match, from a simple execution, becomes a torture of torture.

    Skilful selection of the target for the team is often worth depending on the expected result. If we only need 2 sets to advance to the next round, we can play wisely and safer for these two sets, and accept any win as a circumstance accompanying the promotion, than risk that we should, however, get out of control.

    At the end, each coach should be warned that the use of goal and motivation is quite a subtle matter, and the players' reactions to these settings in confrontation with what happens during the match are very delicate, and the border between a great triumph and a disgraceful defeat sometimes very thin.

    7.5. Selecting the initial setting

    In general, it doesn't change, but there are some reasons to do it sometimes. Very often it is good to start a set well then it is good to move our players so that at the start those best players are in the service area as soon as possible. Sometimes the setting also rotates to avoid situations when a pair of players from opposite teams meets. If a particular rival has blocked your player too often, try changing the paragraph number. to avoid meeting his block.

    7.6. Play tactics

    Here, first of all, one should face the selection of the type and risk of service. We can be tempted to set up the whole team, although the ideal solution seems to be to set tactics individually. The type of service should depend on the skills of our player. If he is dominated by a technician, it is worth using a technical service. If he lacks it, and in return is endowed with good physical conditions, a strength game. An intermediate solution, when none of the features dominates, may be mixed play. In general, it is worth practicing individual types of licks for specific players during friendly matches.

    It is worth determining the risk of service based on its parameter. The more regular a player's service is, the better his bet is to increase the risk of serving. He may start to spoil them a little more often, but once he hits the field, the effects can be staggering for the opponent. The risk of service should be monitored on a regular basis so that - especially at the end - it is not too easy to give points to a rival by seriously broken servos.

    The direction of service can be set individually, as well as for the whole team. There are many considerations here. On the one hand, it seems natural to aim at the poorest player, whether as a result of low skills in this element or because of their weak form. On the other hand, serving as a player who participates in the party and at the same time constitutes a high threat in the attack seems to be a valuable move. By aiming the service, you can not only make it difficult to play in the attack, but effectively tire him out in terms of condition.

    In difficult moments it is useful to switch the service to risky - e.g. when we want to catch up with a rival who has jumped a few points.

    Safe play should be used mainly when playing with very weak opponents. Without risking the service, we do not give them points, and by giving them a ball to play we allow them to make their own mistakes, as well as effective play on the net and in the field of their own team.

    From other directions of the site, the abbreviation is noteworthy - quite often it wreaks havoc in the ranks of the rival, although its excessive use is also a dead end.

    7.7. Playing tactics

    There are plenty of schools here and there is no universal recipe for an effective game. Preferring the most effective player at home, of course, comes to mind, but you have to remember that monotonous playing to a specific player or on a particular wing is soon recognized by the rivals block and this player begins to play harder with the passing of the set and match, the more so his frequent activity is reflected in his condition. It is worth remembering that from time to time you move the game to another part of the pitch, or set it up with a short game (through the center). A kind of consensus is the combination game mode consisting of fairly even playing on the wings, taking into account the short and game from the 6th zone. But such an exhibition is endowed with some randomness and it can happen that instead of positive effects it will bring definitely undesirable.

    It is also worthwhile to play tactics, or rather tactics related to the attack to some extent, include appropriate tactical changes. One of them is to insert a player with a better attack in the key moments. This is usually at the expense of admission, because this type of change is less perceptible. Often they are also players with good physical conditions, which will be useful to us in an effective game block in the ends of sets.

  • 7.8. Block tactics

    The intention is to play active with a block is to direct scoring with this element, while passive play by directing balls around the block to the defenders' zone, or forcing the attacking rival to play the ball where the defending player is. How do you choose the type of block play? Well, it should be adapted to your players. If the team with the weaker block prevails, it is better to try field play and the passive block. If our players have a feeling on the block, it is a good idea to use active play. The use of an active block, e.g. switching from passive, can also be effective at the end, when we want to directly stop the rival and get the key points for the set course - but also remember not to be in such maneuvers. Perhaps your defense is so good that it is not worth playing with an active block, and it is even better to put a change in the second line at the end of the set just by putting a player who is well positioned in defense, who will raise the key ball for the set.

    Playing with a passive block also carries the risk that the conquered balls should then be played to attack - here with a weak quarterback or weak attackers - heavy balls taken out of the field can be infinite in attack or even immediately pierced to the opponent's side. So it's worth considering your own performance on the accounts.

    The direction of the block is already a matter that should be preceded by an analysis / observation of the opponent's game. You can predict in advance which player will get the most balls and focus your block on it. The risk then lies in the fact that it is easier to attack other opponents attacking from another place on the grid. If they do too well, then the golden mean is any side of the block, allowing them to check every zone of the attack.

    7.9. Attack Tactics

    Here the situation is similar to the selection of service. Whether the player is more served by a mixed, strength or technical attack will depend on his skills. There is no doubt, however, that it is worth using a technical attack against field players, whose tips should be carried out using the good technique that they usually have.

    Identifying which type of attack best serves a particular player is best done by observing his skill parameters and match practice, acquired e.g. during social matches or meetings with weaker opponents, where the use of new elements and solutions is not associated with high risk.

    7.10. Tactical changes

    Here are a few suggestions of the most commonly used tactical changes aimed at - mainly in the sets ends to increase the likelihood of scoring a point at your own website, or maximally increase the effectiveness of deriving actions after your own party.

    One of the frequently used changes is the replacement in the line of defense of a potentially less well-received player designating in this element playing better in the field. Because he won't attack for a few actions, you can ignore this element. When it is under the grid, we make a return change. Such a change can also be combined with the introduction of a well-received player to the service, if it is his advantage. Another option is to replace the other host with another substitute at the same time. Because then he will be under the net must be a player with a better attack. Of course, as usual, do not blindly believe these rules, because you can weaken your own party too and severely disappoint you with your changes.

    The most frequently made tactical change is a change to service consisting in introducing a player with a weaker player who has a strong and reliable service. If you succeed, you can get direct points from the service. This change can be extended with the option of raising the block by inserting under the grid for the player of the lower reserve middle block - this is usually done for the quarterback. Another modification is the change of players under the net higher for lower, even if it is clearly weaker technically. For this 1, or maybe more, growth shares, rather than a technique in this case may prove more important.

    It is also often the case that one of the middle ones in the six does not belong to the player endowed with a good block - then for key moments we can put in our place our middle reserve, of course, if he has a better block than him. Then, if we are dealing with a weak attack substitute, we should remember that our tactics do not accidentally prefer it in this element, because such play may prove to be ineffective.

    When making changes, it is also important to control the condition of our clients. It is natural that the more tired the less effective.

    7.11. Match observations

    Pay attention to the condition of players on both sides of the grid. Lower fitness percentage, lower effectiveness. Control it from the beginning of the meeting. Skillfully use your own changes and on-demand breaks that always provide some relief for your players. A decrease in fitness by a few percent, although it does not do much harm to your players, but it is worth having the skill of sensing after exceeding what value a given player begins to lose a lot of his skills and dynamics.

    Remember! You always have statistics on hand to analyze them is a lot of material for thinking about further tactical moves. If you focus, you can get a lot out of them. First of all, however, you will be able to observe the effectiveness of each opponent's acceptance, the effects of your block, the proportions of the number of balls to be attacked by specific players.

    It is equally important to analyze your own statistics and skillfully dispose of your composition and tactics so as to eliminate your own errors and hide your weaknesses from your opponent.

    7.12. The nose and intuition of the trainer (motto for those who overestimate the role of numbers)

    Although you should follow logic in your decisions, sometimes you should trust your gut feeling. When it succeeds, satisfaction is immeasurable! Then it's worth saying: Well! I'm a good trainer!

    Our new developer Paweł Wnuk Lipiński has been working on developing a new edition of the game for some time.


    Of course, we can't guarantee anything at the moment and probably the game will not be released in 2020, but we are glad that, despite repeated announcements, there is a chance that VM 2014 will not be the last edition of our game if everything goes our way in the future.


    It will probably be a completely new game, because the latter product by Tomasz Novrain Ślusarek called Volleyball Manager 2014 was created in the Microsoft.Net.Framework environment. and we think about a slightly more advanced version of the game created from the beginning by the person who has declared himself for this purpose and it can be assumed that due to his education he has higher computer games programming skills.


    So if someone is a fan of our modest computer game just keep your fingers crossed because there is a chance for a new computer game though there is a long way to go.

    Oczywiście na razie nie możemy niczego zagwarantować i prawdopodobnie gra nie ukaże się w 2020 roku, ale cieszymy się, że wbrew wielokrotnym zapowiedziom istnieje pewna szansa, że VM 2014 nie będzie ostatnią edycją naszej gry, jeśli w przyszłości wszystko pójdzie po naszej myśli.

    Będzie to prawdopodobnie zupełnie nowa gra, ponieważ ten ostatni produkt autorstwa Tomasza Novraina Ślusarka czyli Volleyball Manager 2014 był tworzony w środowisku programistycznym Microsoft Net. Framework i myślimy chyba o trochę bardziej zaawansowanej wersji gry tworzonej od początku przez osobę ktora się w tym celu zadeklarowała i można zakładać że z racji wykształcenia posiada wyższe umiejętności programowania gier komputerowych.

    Jeśli więc ktoś z rozrzewnieniem wspomina nasza skromną grę komputerową niech po prostu trzyma kciuki bo istnieje pewna szansa na nową grę komputerową choć do tego bardzo daleka droga.
