2010 FIBA World Championship-Turkey

  • Turkey took the first place in the gropu, but now is going to face France, which was only 4th. I suppose it won't be easy game for Turkish team. Other teams form 1st places seem to have easier opponents...

    5th place - Prediction Game - World League 2011 :D

  • I think France intentionally lost to New Zelland. They have more chances to beat Turkey than Russia. France can play very good and consecutive, so lost against Team from Oceania is very strange.

  • I dont think France lost to New Zelland intentionally.France main roster played almost full match and New Zelland played very well(Kirk Penny with 25pt).Russia not looks stronger.Russia is much beatble opponent.Guess it will be easier to beat France w/o Tony Parker.Hope Turkey can reach quarter finals

I don't believe in this. Who whants to play Turkey, while they are host :?: It is a suicide. It is always very difficult to play against Turkish teams in Turkey, no matter if it is basketball, football or volleyball. The fans make a a difference for Turkey. Sometimes also referees.

    5th place - Prediction Game - World League 2011 :D

  • The Eight-Final Round of the 2010 FIBA
World Championship came to a close on Tuesday night and the teams that
did not advance to the Quarter-Finals have been ranked.

Brazil, who came up just short against rivals Argentina
in arguably one of the best game of the tournament so far, finished
ninth, a significant improvement on their 17th place four years ago,
with Australia rounding out the top 10.

2006 Silver Medallists Greece have to settle for 11th place following
their loss against defending world champions Spain in a rematch of the
    final in Saitama.

Standings for 2010 FIBA World Championship (places 9-16):

    9 Brazil

    10 Australia

    11 Greece

    12 New Zealand

    13 France

    14 Croatia

    15 Angola

    16 China

Now Chinese fans will kill Coach of China

  • I see Konrad is big fan of basketball so I have Enigma for Him. This Team is one position behind Jordania in FIBA Ranking. Teams like Panama, Nigeria or Qatar is better of this Team by Ranking. This Team is ...
