Darnel played, but of course not her best game. well, I'd say Croatia was just amazing, and Turkey was horrible...

if i am not wrong nesli was sent in at the half way in the first set....if not probably i have missde some balls at the very beginning...
Croatia seems not the big opponet for Turkey, but finally they found it was tough to spike through maja and dugandzic's hands...
i have to say, they definately have underestimated croatia some how...I like Turkish girls performance in WCH last year...not this time...really ashame to see such a team without Naz and Seda...

this was a beautiful SURPRISE!You can say that! I heard many interview about our (italian) pool and everybody was keeping saying that Croatia was, theorically, the "weakest" (better, the less strongest) one, then Azeirbajan, then Turkey!
And I have to admit that it's also good for us, hoping we will grab 3 points this evening... Go girls!!
It remind me a lot of the male ECh, when we beated 3-1 the "underdog" Belgium the first day, and in the second one Belgium beated 3-1 the absolutly favourite France...

I'm very happy with the result, but we were lucky today...1st and 3rd set we won because of Bulgaria's unforced errors
I didn't know Rabadhzieva before, and she really impressed me today! Bulgarian NT has a great future (together with Vasileva and Filipova).
Dutch NT worked very hard today. Decent reception and defense. Great serving.
Bulgaria had height-advantage and alot more power. Tomorrow it will be even harder, against Russia.
We need again great serving like today

Why
First of all , because of our federation president who only cares about NT(actually he only cares about Women NT, he knows Men NT will never achieve anything in near future, so he doesn't bother to improve the team.) He doesn't care about clubs. He is always claiming that he made volleyball more popular in Turkey. Of course it is nothing to do with him. It's mostly about Fenerbahçe (bringing best players in Turkey, and forced other teams to do the same)
I don't know if you heard the last news but federation started an investigation about Naz, they claimed that Naz lied about being injuried, she continued training with Fenerbahçe. It is ridiculous. How could she prefer to be in trainings than to be in ECH with NT.
And I don't like most of the girls (Neslihan, Özge, Gözde, Esra) , the ones i like became irritating when they're together also

i will be very sad if turkey was eliminated in the preliminary round...only for Eda, she doesnt deserve such a disaster...'
if the setter could allocate the balls with her brain, im sure the game will be more favorable...i shall turn to support croatia if eda will be out...maja was very dominant over net but gligorovic doesnt like to set for her or set the ball in the wrong position...
i didnt see any progress from gligorovic during almost over 10 years...ps: what happened on popovic, she used to be much better than alejbeg......topic + miletic + popovic could be a better try...

What happend to Milos? IMO, She is better than Dugandzic.

Yeah we DESERVED that with such a horrible game! There are a lot to say but on the other hand there is nothing to say
I don't expect a great game against host Italy. I just don't want to see them while playing like that.If they will keep playing like that, it is better for Turkish people and players to come back early.

we did play bad, we let croatia to play, we did foolish faults and the result is this.
