Wow, 19-21 in tie-break, quite a tough game...

  • So, today is the last day of the second qualification round, but something have been clear.
    Pool A
Belarus, Portugal and Turkey will compete for the ticket, and it seems that Belarus have bigger probability to get it, cause they have GB as opponent for the last match while Portugal have to face the coming-back Turkey(Turkey beat Belarus 3:1 yesterday) . But this is the normal situation, we cannot exclude the scene that GB gets 3 points from Belarus and Turkey does the same thing from Portugal, then Turkey will qualify... :rolll:
    Pool B
Things going on in this pool are somewhat like what happening in pool A . All the 3 teams have opportunities, although the chance would not be evenly distributed among them. Obviously Belgium has the greatest opportunity cause they will play against Israel while the Netherlands is gonna challenge a much tougher opponent, Estonia.
    Pool C
Czech Rep has already qualified, so other teams have to compete for the second place. In normal circumstance, Croatia will hardly get any point from Czech Rep. So the match between Austria and Macedonia will determine the final ranking in this group.
    Pool D
Finland also qualified after last night's competition against Greece. This time, they did not make any mistakes but got an overwhelming winning(25-16, 25-17, and 25-14). Greece will probably end with a second place cause they are facing the relatively weak Romania
    Pool E
All competitions in this group have been finished, and the final ranking is as follows: Germany(18), Slovenia(9),Ukraine(8),Sweden(1)
    Pool F
Also, situation in this group is quite simple, although there are still two matches to be finished this night, :D .France and Latvia have already finished this qualification tournament with the 1st and second rankings respectively.

  • Wow, I found the figure"8" plus the right parenthesis")" will be compiled into the representation of this face--> 8)

To be honest, I have my doubts about the Belgian team for this last game against Israel.
They've been lucky twice so far (a total of 13 match points avoided against Holland), our luck is spent now.
I don't expect them to win in straight sets against Israel. And if they loose 1 set, they're capable of losing the entire game.

Not sure either what to expect from game between Estonia and Holland: Estonian team seems confident playing at home.

At least, we can be sure that one team will be terribly dissapointed tonight.

    Should be interesting...

  • Abdelaziz and his cooperation with middle-blockers :obey: :obey: :obey: Koistra :obey: :obey: :obey: so far in 1st set they are great but Estonians has started playing vball after 20th point in set so we should see big fight in next sets...
