No they can't.. that's why you can have 14 players..
Oh, that is sad. I am sure no other is good enough as a setter from the rest of the 13 people. If Pankova is injured, Russia is a goner.

Sad to hear about Mihajlovic.
I was hoping it was not so serious...

yes I know, I couldn't remember what her last name was now.. Maybe I'm wrong but some years ago she had another name on her shirt, not Okuniewska nor Tomsia?!?! ![]()
Including a major talking point involving Dutch setters… I would have loved to have heard your thoughts
Today I'm gonna watch and I am really looking forward to that match
Players know each other very well (and some VERY well
), hall is gonna be full and GER-NED always are interesting matches.

I don't think Mühlsteinova is injured, she is training in Police and played some friendly matches with them as well, looks like she is out because of coach choice...
Anyway it sucks to have two important players being injured already after one day! So eventually for Terzic it pays off to take Malagurski instead of Ninkovic because Nikolic to me hasn't shown anything impressive this summer, if Mihajlovic is done for the tournament it's a big blow for Serbia. And I think losing Matienko is very bad for Russia too, the team showed during WGP that they just play better with her as setter. I'm very curious how much Croatia can challenge them today, didn't expect them to run over AZE that easily...the tournament is just as balanced and interesting as everybody predicted ![]()

I think in Fenerbahce she had her nickname "Bera" on her shirt...
That's the reason why I don't like when female players chose to take their husbands' surnames on shirts.
Thank God in Italy it is not really part of our culture to use husbands' surnames. As far As I remember just Rinieri used to take Dennis on her shirt when they where married, but she didn't cut her own surname, so it was "Rinieri-Dennis".

Mmm I meant another last name other than those two, but I guess I'm wrong ![]()
The biggest problem of Matienko's injury is that right now Russia doesnt have a back up setter..
i like Pankova much more than Matienko but with no back up setter it is hard for Russia in case Pankova doesnt play well..
is it normal... I don't think at the ECH there is a team with 3 setters! If you have not Barazza, Guiggi or Tom in your team, it is a problem....
sad for russia and serbia
Terzic should try Bjelica + Molnar + Brako with Malagurski as back up OPP ![]()

I surprise you, Belgium has 3 setters
Dirickx, Van Der Vyver and Biebauw ![]()
Italy-France starting: http://www.bestsportgo.tv/2013…9e36c1d10b3.65807468.html
By the way, 9 years after the legendary Olympic semifinal BRA-RUS, we had another 24:19 breakdown yesterday in SRB-BUL
And I noticed one thing during Germany's match that I didn't like at all: line judges made several wrong decisions in favor of Germany
The 1st referee overruled them once but there were 4-5 strange decisions...
Surprise
France plays with Tuifua as setter
and Schleck as OPP

Yesterday was the same, all wing-spikers and Ortschitt received, they received with 4 players.
