    I don't understand why Lucia Bosetti is there. I mean, she can't spike, block, or serve; she can only dig and receive but yesterday at one point she took away from the bal the injured hand and she took the ball only with one hand (the left one, and she is right-handed) She can only play for a while instead of her little sister... I hope she will get well soon and she will not accidently make things for hern hand get worse and worse...

    One thing just came into my mind...thanks to the points system, it is possible to reach 2nd round without winning a single match. For example, if Poland loses their other matches 2:3 again, they'll have 3 points at the end of preliminary, and if Czech team loses their other matches 0:3/1:3, they'll have only 2 points. So in this case, even though Poland didn't win any match, they could qualify :white: I really think this system should not be applied for tournaments with only such few matches because it leaves so many possibilities for strange rankings...like winning all matches and still not being 1st or losing all matches and still not being last :S

    No, I don't agree with you! Winning or losing 3-2 or 3-0/3-1 is not the same... I think this is the right way to give points... Cause you deserve something if you win 2 sets!

    Jupiter is a big surprise. She's already the level to play in Europe. She was very good in PR. Now is even better. I followed her in Criollas de Caguas, she looks very improved.

    Besides Signorile (as usual), also De Gennaro and Caterina Bosetti really bad today :wacko:
    Luckily Costagrande is playing the best match of her summer..


    Sorokaite is scoring more points for France than for Italy :aww: :down: :aww: :down:

    Italian team this year is composed by some experienced players,like Guiggi,Costagrande and Arrighetti,and some young ones,like Signorile,Diouf,Cate Bosetti,that need to improve and to get more and more experience and confidence..


    i dont understand why some people is so negative about this team:it is time to change something in this Nt and i wouldn't be surprised if next year Costagrande wont be anymore in this team.. it is time for the younger generation and about this ECH the aim is not to win or get a medal absolutely,but to let these new players play in order to give them the chance to improve and to be more confident in themselves..


    i dont care too much about the final result this year,but to see the improvement of our young athletes and i think that this is also Mencarelli and Federation's thought.

    Yes, but the most important thing after all is WINNING or LOSING for me! A team that loses all matches can't be better than one that wins one match. Maybe a good way would be keeping the scoring system, but making number of victories the first criterion and the points the second in case of same number of won matches.


    And now time for GER-NED :super:

    Beier should play far better than yesterday against holland.Her reception is so important but she must attack aswell.
    And i want to see different sets with weiss or hanke,germany sometimes play really predictable game.
