2013 European Championship - Germany and Switzerland

  • OMG, this is one of the biggest surprises in recent history :white: Especially in these circumstances, after having such a huge lead... That's a mental collapse that even surpasses the ones produced by Serbia.

  • What a big surprise for me :cheesy: .! I don't know what happened in the 3rd set because CZE was dominating..!. Unfotunately it was a good chance for Bulgaria to play the QF at least :wall:

  • CZE-FRA - stats:

Havlickova was a leader, but wasn't enough. At French side Bauer the best scorer, Schleck just behind her.

  • Congratulations Croatia and France! :super:

The match between Poland and Italy reminded me of the final in 2005, when I just started watching volleyball, and I was thinking how different those teams are now. Poland played an awesome volleyball back then.

  • Any news about Mihajlovic and if she will play tomorrow or not?

  • Really happy for Italy, after the bad defeat of Sunday against Belgium, they managed to change mood and forget about that ugly match. Today against Poland they were determined and evene though they didn't play perfectly, they won. I'm very happy!!! tomorrow it's gonna be hard agains Serbia, nearly impossible, but who knows...go girls!!!!!!! :super: :super: :super:

    France, what a surprise!!! 8o 8o 8| 8|
Happy for Croatia...quarter finals are going to be really interesting!

  • What a black out for Czechs :white: After taking a set 25-9 and leading 2-0, they lost all following sets with 2 points margin :S When they eliminate Bulgaria, I started to believe that they will finally reach to semis and join the elite group of European volleyball :aww: Both Bulgaria and Czechs were the most disappointing teams once again :wall: Now I will cheer for my other 2 favourite teams Crotia and Belgium for medal. First one is the most experienced team of ECh while the second is most probably the youngest :win:

I really believe that Crotia will make a surprise against Germany tomorrow. I wish they had a better setter though

For Turkey-Belarus match, everybody criticized Seda so badly for the match against Germany and it seems like Seda heard them  Moreover, our block performance were the best of this season yet it was against a weak team, Belarus. The reason of Bahar's good performance at block scores is that she has already good block technique for covering against an expected attack. However, Bahar's problem is lack of block anticipation. That's why having a few killing block doesn't mean anything to me. I still see a huuuuuge gapat our blocking system whenever we play against a fast team and creative setter. Indeed, because of this, I expect Bahar to play better against Russia

  • The injury is not severe, but it's still unknown whether she'll play tomorrow.

    Ok, Thank you

  • I created also Errors Ranking, but only from Group Stage, today matches I'll add later :)

  • Both Bulgaria and Czechs were the most disappointing teams once again :wall:

To me only Bulgaria was disappointing, Czech Republic without Havelkova wasn't expected to do better than this. They are a young team but much more balanced than the Bulgarian one (and more humble...Bulgarian girls are so spoiled and rude ... ), they only need to find better MBs for the future cause Pastulova, Monzoni and Plchotova are definitely not good enough.

  • She has to be! Of course you're wrong Kondzio

  • I hope France's victory (a little bit miraculous 8o ) is just the beginning of an interesting adventure for our talented group.
Souply, Jupiter and Fedele still have a large margin of improvement.
At last Tuifua and Kloster played rightly today.
Difficult to dream for the quarter vs Belgium but already :woohoo: for today !
