World League 2011

  • Alekno is stupid. They will play five matches in a row four days after these with us, so they won't last. He should let some players to rest if he wants the gold.

Alekno is very clever coach  he mixed team in almost all home matches, players can't be tired because there is no reason for that  he gave chance to all players and now when almost all teams played matches with strongest first line up, Russians are rested. In last 4 matches he will use strongest squad to build up form before Gdansk. Belive me Alekno is wise

  • Cubans can do damage to Italy for sure (maybe Italians wont play with best possible lineup),

What to say about France :aww: biggest disappointment for me as they were giving statements that their goal is F8 :gone: N'Gapeth missing is huge blow, also Kieffer as a leader on court. Both setters underperformed and Rouzier just justified my opinion (not only mine) that he is far from level which is needed in poland, Italy or Russia  there is one good thing for France - Jenia Grebennikov :obey: excellent libero, very good in diging and he is only 21 y.o. :cheesy:

About Cuba, they are playing better than the beginning and they have already almost won vs Italy once, so it's definitly possible they will win again, btw it won't be easy ;) (as it won't be easy for italy!)

Actually Italy still needs 1 point for being sure of the first place; if we will get this point soon may be berruto will let someone rest, but I think nobody wants to lose these 2 matches vs Cuba, expecially at home, so whoever will be in the court will play for victory, I hope/I think!

About France, they also improved a lot, they are defending well (the new libero is probably franch best player now, he rocks!! :win: ) but their counter-attack is :wall: too many mistakes or not many powerful/smart spike

  • Stoychev said in the post match interview he is very dissapointed from Matey Kaziyski and I for one have to agree with this. He not only made a lot of mistakes, but his attitude was also poor -he looked like he did not care for the mactch at all  , For first time since I follow the team I sow him doing this. I know he is not a leader-like character and is playing with injury and pain in his back, but that was way too much X( . I am personally dissapointed from both Matey and Stoychev and IMO they are responsible for the result. Stoychev just did nothing to change the situation in those sets we lost, he didn't even took his time outs  .

Wow, it's as if I was reading about another player. It's really weird to read such things about Matey, I've always considered him as a player who is always ready to help his team, so I'm kinda suprised that he didn't care about the result at all. You know...I kinda know how you felt...our 'stars' have done that to me a lot of times  Yeah, I understand that Matey could be pissed with all those injuries and stuff...I just hope he won't become the new Mariusz Wlazły, 'cause that would be terrible...he would refuse to play because of the most ridiculous injuries ever...like finger, eyelash etc. Luckily Matey is Matey, and let's hope he won't change :win: I believe it was just a bad day ;)

  • We are probably out of the finals and it's not a big surprise. There is Salparov missing - the heart of the team, Kaziyski still playing awful, because of the injury, Vlado is injured, Bratoev and Yordanov too, the reception is still not good. So many many problems, so I don't think it's a failure. There is still hope against Russia and I will be there to support our boys. Поздрави на българите във форума и не се отчайвайте.

  • What happened with Vissotto?? I wrote that he have injury and don't will be him in Katowice on the match Poland-Brasil..It's true? This injury is serious?

Very good information for us  No, just kidding, actually it's a real pity that Leandro is injured...if he's really injured, 'cause honestly I haven't heard anything about that. Got some info?

Chill out, dude. We'll take 6 points from Russia, then we'll win 5 games in Poland and will take the title :D A piece of cake

 Sure it is a piece of cake. We're gonna do the same with Brazil. Two matches in Katowice, easy 3:0 for us, and Brazillians are out of final 8 *evil laugh*

  • Yes, Vissoto suffered from pains on his thigh, in the very beginning of the first game vs USA. He's been through exams and it's said to be nothing major. Just as precaution, he wasn't listed for the second game vs USA and he won't play these two last games vs Poland, but he'll travel along with the team and according to him, he'll be ok when the final round begins.

Of course it's never a good thing when an important player from your NT is injured. But I'm actually glad Théo could get the chance to played. I think he was really awesome the first match against US. In the second, his leveled decreased, as well as the rest of the team. But Vissoto was underperforming, so, at this point, I fully suport the idead of Théo being the opposite starter.

Yeah, keep packing the strong teams together and the weak once in their own groups, that's the way to fair play, FIVB! And don't forget to send my thank you to Bjelica, the judge with no knowledge of volleyball :obey:

"in their own group"--> who is supposed to be "their" ? :what:

btw, remember that Cuba and Serbia got a medal in WC10, so they were supposed to be strong teams... and Russia and Brazil have to stay somewhere, the FIVB can't just let them apart because too strong ;)

The weak and strong groups are phenomenon from WL 2003 at least. We had only two years with easy groups - 2006 and 2007 and all others we were with the olympic champion, or the world champion, or the european champion or other perversions (2005 - Bulgaria, Italy, Cuba and France after 4th place in 2004)
BTW, this is for all FIVB and CEV men's competitions on national level - ECH, WCH, WL, Olympic tournament and so on

Разбира се, дано момчета ни да нямат повече контузии и ще бием всеки, а най-важното да подобрим посрещане и да почнем да показваме наистина атрактивен волейбол във всичките му елементи :)

if that happens Brazil will kick out USA, cause of better set ratio ?(

Poland will finish first, Brazil second, USA out.

Intersting :whistling: How strong do the Brazilians want to kick out USA of the final 8? :?:

I think they will kick out us from the F8, but they have more benefits from kicking out USA. We are about to see what will happen.

Дано да си прав/а. И аз вярвам, че можем, защото сме го показвали, дано и момчетата да си повярват - това е най-важното.
