Germany league will start next week. The first match is SC Potsdam - VCO Berlin on saturday, the other matches will be on 24 November.
I will post more information and team rosters later.
Danke I will cheer for STUTTGART!!
Are Players from Great Britain good?
Will Spobox.tv broadcast some games like last season or not??
Lucy Wicks is the main setter of GBR NT, she is not bad. Ciara Michel played in USA and Australian College leagues, she is very tall but I don't know how good she can be.
The league is still in negotiations for broadcasting rights. At the moment they don't have enough money to pay...channels like Spobox demand the league to pay for the production of the broadcasting etc., so either the league must find a sponsor who gives enough money to pay it, or an offer that they can afford.

Nadja Schaus had to play OH for Schwerin because Mira Topic is injured (after recovering from a previous injury, last week in a training match the injury came up again) and Julia Retzlaff can't jump yet after a knee surgery. Maja Pachale also could not play due to physical problems, so Schwerin's large roster already was an advantage in the first match.
The easy victory of Stuttgart (without Brinker) over Suhl is rather surprising...
All team rosters except Wiesbaden are complete now. Wiesbaden is still looking for some new players to sign, and their foreign players Raonic, Hong and Novotna are not listed yet either.

Not that much, if you saw them play at the league-cup final four.

Matthias, Barborkova who is playing in Vilsbiburg is that one who played in Czech NT in the WCh??
Yes, she is in German league already since some years. She was in Stuttgart and Wiesbaden before. In the beginning when she came here she was not a very good player but she made great progress in the last seasons.
Thanks Matthias. I did not know she was playing in Germany.
About brodcast, there is no way to watch germany league untill now, right?
No, still nothing
Thanks. Hope spobox.tv can show at least playoffs.

Dresden's OH Frieda Thieme injured her ankle in the beginning of the match and can't play for 6 weeks.
Tasha Holness made her debut for Wiesbaden just one day after arriving there and she played very well. Nice to see that she connects so well with the setters even though they hardly practised together.
Potsdam is a surprise so far. After two easy victories against weaker teams now they pulled off a surprise by beating Suhl.

First match of german cup quarterfinals was played yesterday. VfB 91 Suhl defeated Rote Raben Vilsbiburg with 3:2 (25:22-17:25-21:25-25:21-15:9)
Today Dresden was able to obtain a 3:0 victory over SC Potsdam, but the first two sets were awfully close...
The sweet revenge by Suhl. How many matches plays in the one phase of the German Cup?
