Germany - DVL 2010/11

Lot of trouble in Wiesbaden: last week the coach Xiaojun Yang decided that Nicole Fetting and Regina Burchardt are no longer captain/vice-captain of the team, and since some matches Fetting also lost her position as main setter too. New captain is Anke Borowikow, new vice is the other setter Olga Raonic. On Wednesday, Yang didn't attend the match of her team due to health reasons (rumors are she had a nervous breakdown during talks with manager and players), and yesterday the club announced to dismiss Nicole Fetting from the team, if she finds another team she is allowed to leave, otherwise Wiesbaden will pay her as her contract is still valid. The sponsors are very angry about all the events going on in the team in the last weeks, many people don't understand why the club still supports Yang even though she already announced that she will retire after the season, and it's not a secret that in the last years a lot of players left Wiesbaden because they didn't get along with her as person, even though she seems to be a very good coach in pure Volleyball terms.
On the other hand the club has signed Nikolina Kovacic and expect her to play this weekend. They are looking for a new setter now.

Great match between Schwerin and Vilsbiburg, Vilsbiburg had 2 match points but Schwerin managed to turn the match. Mira Topic 33 points and 55% in attack, wow

So far I've watched just one set, but it's really a good match. Mira Topic is definitely the best OH in our league now!

murina: You won't see her in that match, she's playing in Dresden

@ Canter: Mira Topic is Croatian OH, last season she played in Romania and the year before in Murcia.
Hippe is currently in very good shape, but she needs to become more solid. Also in the previous years there were weeks when she was unstoppable and suddenly she couldn't kill any ball any more for some matches...I hope this time she keeps the good form. Her biggest problem probably are her nerves I think Kozuch is better and more experienced, though Kozuch needs fast sets to be successful (that's why she is so bad in Zarechie now...) and Hippe can also be good with high balls.

This year's JNT aka VCO Berlin seems to be really really weak, hard to believe they managed 4th place in ECH last year. Recently they have been struggling to reach even more than 15 points in most sets
