    I'm afraid about setter-position...Neither Staelens, nor Dijkema are 100% healthy..Our best setter injured (Stoltenborg) :S

    My analysis:


    Setters: Weak. Dijkema is the weakest point of starting-six. She needs still a few years to become a decent setter. Kim Staelens is much more experienced, and more stable, but she has suffered a chronical knee-injurie for many years already. This summer she has played no matches so far..so I think she can't help the team like she should do.


    It's very pity Femke Stoltenborg can't play because of a broken thumb. She could help the team alot.


    Opp: Strong. Luckily there is Flier. I don't want to think about Dutch NT playing without her :S


    OH: Weak. Lack of quality. Very unstable.


    MB: Decent. Very experienced. Better in blocking than hitting (except de Kruijf). I hope de Kruijf gets her chances. She deserves it, being the future MB !!


    Libero: Weak. van Tienen is in the fall of her career. Her best period was some years ago. Schoot lacks quality.



    My expectation: low. I quote Selinger: 'we should work very hard every game, at least. If every :!: player is in good shape, a good result is possible... ' :roll:

    The more you dissect Selinger's comment, the worse it sounds... If every player is in good shape then a good result is possible, but since (as we already know) not every player is in good shape, a good result is thereby not possible :white:

    And indeed, everybody have seen a lot players aren't in good shape at the moment..also some (lightly) injured players... --> My expectations for ECH --> :S:S


    Hopefully for OGQT Buijs and Stoltenborg are back, and all the other players will be 100% healthy. Because there IS certainly enough potential in Dutch Women's Volleyball :teach:


    Dijkema -> VfB Stuhl
    Stoltenborg -> Unsure. Personally I doubt that she remains at TVC, given how the situation there eventually played out...

    I think current TVC is much too weak for her, since they will make a totally new start!

    Talked to her with Dela Trophy and she said: it's almost certain she's not playing for TVC next season. Level is too low for her to get better this season. She's talking to clubs right now ( or her manager..:D)

    It will be very difficult..almost impossible to get into London 2012...


    I haven't the complete story available now...but I read in Dutch press, Dutch NT may particpate in only 1 OGQT ..and need to win it..to qualify. Particpatiing teams are dependant on Worldranking of European teams / results at World Cup..

    Selinger mey realize that C.staleans、Alice Blom、Francie Huurman should no longer in NT :down:
    I really know Huurman has incredible serve but her moving block is soooooooooo weak :white:
    Quinta Steenbergen is even better than her :drink:


    Can any Dutch friend tell me is it impossible for Deborah van delean enter NT as a super middle-blocker？
    Also Judith Pietersen should back to MB :teach: Her block is quite good :rose:
    Robin de kruijf deserve a chance :super:


    About wing-attacker i think Maret Grothues and Anne Buijs are the best currently :heart:
    And i want Anglique Vergeer、Ester De Vries to enter NT :super:


    About setter i am waiting for Fmeke back and Selinger should consider Judith Blansjaar :box:X(
