The 2012 CEV Champions League

  • I see. That's too bad. I hope fans will be better behaved ESPECIALLY since Baku will host Final Four.

Azeri teams play in European cups for many years, and nothing happened like this. It is not about the volleyball or Rabita fans. it is about Other Turkish football teams fans :aww:

    Go Azerrail! ^^

dont blame other turkish football fans , today we saw what happened on court. we dont need to arguement on that. and no accusations to others !

sorry, but I hate to see them wearing other turkish football team t-shirt ( i guess u saw it too) and watch volleyball (and it happens only in fenerbahce game) :wall: In Azerbaijan team games of course~

  • @ nati, if you meant that there are football fans in volleyball stadiums instead of no volleyball fans, then you are right, i like to have volleyball fans in stadiums aswell. but in turkey there are not only football fans ! ! its difficult to distinguish them. for example Eczacibasi or Vakifbank fans are no football fans

    I meant the same! ^^

  • Only congratulations to Fener. They played amazingly great and were mucj much better than us...
And about paper - fans just pushed them into court and one of them hit Sokolovs. it happened by accident not in purpose.
    Congrats Fener fans. . bravo

and why exactly did they pushed those papers in court for making the court more pretty???

  • Gamova is playing a lot of defense today :white: Sometimes it looks rather awkward but she gets the balls...And she looks really motivated, when she blocked Rahimova she sent a little "greeting" over afterwards :D

gamova actually is a very decent passer once the ball comes her way, it's just her height which prevents her to move quick enough to defend well. It actually looks like a tree falling when she reaches to a ball coming a little wide.

call me a bigot, but i like when gamova acts out, which I don't appreciate in many others. :D

I didn't say I don't like it :D She's got style, I'll never forget WCH 2006 final when she was so annoyed by Jaqueline's screams that she started to scream too

  • Kazan is totally taking apart Azerrail's 2 player reception in this set. And I totally prefer float serves over jump serves! ;)

I think really good jumpservers are fun to watch.

This isn't to say that I don't appreciate really good float servers.

But there's something about a jumpserve hit with precision and heat (over 85kph) that makes me smile the way no float serve ever can. :P

yeap that one put a smile on my face as well. :)

BTW it was nice to see clay on the court. I wonder which team he cheers for.

  • Gamova does that screams when she faces her "great friend" Goncharova all the time ;)

Also, dont forget her kiss to a German player after a blocking, was it Grun?
