I agree that Kazan should have closed this match in the 3rd set. Now they have to mentally regroup. Cortese thinks they're in the game now, at least.

Gilyazutdinov changes setters too often and too early. Kazan only gets a little in trouble and already he takes Sheshenina out, then Chukanova comes in, nothing changes and a few minutes later she has to go out again. I think he should trust Sheshenina, overall she is better.
Gamova looks quite annoyed now, probably she wishes it shall finally be over

yes you are right Sheshenina is playing good as already said.. now Kazan is back anyway! thanks to Larson mostly!! and yes Gamova is really annoyed now
-
Well Gamova cannot be happy with how this match has developed. They were 5 points up in the 3rd set, lost that. And now they're having to fight for every ball.
-
Big reception error by C.Bosetti then Pavan hits out. It's Kazan leading 23-20 now.
-
Congrats to Kazan for the bronze.
-
Congrats Kazan for the bronze medal...not bad for a first participation.
-
Jordan Larson has positively surpriserd me alot by her performance in the F4.And Kazan's libero Ulanova as well. She has played very well.
-
Congratulations to Kazan for the bronze...it is a really good team IMO!! I liked too Jordan Larson a lot!!

Kazan wins bronze and Gamova looks like she's just been at a funeral I think we will see the same face again in Olympics
I'm a bit sad for Caterina B., she made some crucial errors in the end, but I am sure that in the long run such experiences will make her stronger and help her to become an even better player! After all, how many players played CL F4 as starter most of the time with just 18 years? Give her some time and she will be a star player.Stats: http://www.cev.lu/Competition-…hStatistics.aspx?ID=23478

Congrats Kazan for the bronze Im not convinced by their play lately though, and think they can get some problems with Moscow in league final. By the way, the commentator said that Jordan was furious probably at some players she didnt thought did well after the game yesterday!

Hi Anton, do you know whether the commentators were saying this as a fact that happened? or is it just how they thought she reacted?

I think u right. Russia will probably not win anything with Gamova as I see it. She was the best, but this season shows she isnt anymore. Goncharova plays better than her almost every game this season, but she will not play anyway. The chance for Russia is that Gamova suddenly starts to play like 2010, but seems not likely.

They said like above, that she probably was furious at some players, so I guess they dont really know why, just what they thought.

About Gamova and Russia's chances.. IF Russia is to be successful in 2012, I think it will be up to Shashkova more than Gamova. Just a feeling I have. Sorry if I'm off topic.

Well maybe, I think to take the gold they need a performance from Gamova like in 2010 WCH. Sokolova need too be good in all aspects to obviously, but I dont think she will help so much in attack unfortunalety. Im not that satisfied with Liubas performance this season, not bad but, could have been better...at least in the game I have seen, might be wrong hehe

Gamova's strength is that she can play way beyond her limits when she wants to. Her performances in 2006 and 2010 WCH finals were just amazing and it's no secret that she really wants Olympic gold. I think in London we will see a different Gamova than the one today, but right now I don't think RUS NT will have the quality to win gold. But it's a long time until then, everything is possible...
Not such a long time fortunately until the final starts Hope it will be a great match!

That is for sure, but she also wanted the CL so badly, but look what happend...then I start to really worry about her shape.

Naz must be careful not to overuse Kim, it is very tempting because she is so effective and reliable but if the match lasts longer she will get tired sooner or later...Tom hardly does any attacks, her job seems to be just reception, defense and serves.

This is enough for us
