    many people were in shock with Bonitta´s first roster that he called, Kaczorowska was there as a junior player without experiences...she started to play quite well also in league, but then she completely stopped her improve IMO...

    When I read Anna's words I was smiling. Nobody thought about her comeback and she is and made such declaration. :P

    On Thursday Polish NT will flight to Zrenjanin on ECH. In roster there are only 3 OH's.
    "Kinga Kasprzak refused to play two days before announcing roster. Aleksandra Kruk has serious problems in her family and asked me for going home", said Alojzy Świderek.
    He taskes 14 players on ECH, with only 3 OH's: Klaudia Kaczorowska, Katarzyna Jaszewska and Karolina Kosek. This situation limits possibility of substitutes.
    "Fortunately we have in team 3 opposites. Two of them: Katarzyna Konieczna and Anita Kwiatkowska played with successes as OH's. One of them fill the gap", said Świderek, who has the biggest problems with this position. Due to different reasons in NT in this year don't play: Małgorzata Glinka-Mogentale, Anna Barańska and Aleksandra Jagieło, who were key-players in NT coached by Jerzy Matlak. Now Kasprzak is out, Świderek counted on her. Player from Bank BPS Muszyna played well in first World Grand Prix matches in Bydgoszcz, but in next matches she didn't play due to stomach muscles injury. Later Kasprzak recovered and gave good performance in Agata Mróz Memorial.
    "Unfortunately later the injury renewed and Kinga admitted that she won't play on ECH", said Kasprzak's manager Andrzej Grzyb. To Serbia Poles will flight on Thursday. Group matches will play in Zrenjanin, next matches in Belgrade. "I don't want to assess chances, you journalists do it best. I still keep the statement, that we'll go to Serbia for fighting for a medal," said Świderek. Volleyball players gladly established to a bronze medal of our male's NT, won on Sunday in Vienna. "I strongly supported boys. Third place match was an imagination. I wish our team will also show the same character", said Karolina Kosek.

    ok after reading this and reading that Kruk´s comment in an interview (I cant find it whole) it seems Swiderek is lying about her absence in ECH?

    This situation looks really weird 8| although in 1st round we''ll have to face up to not so strong teams, with Germany we may have problems, but I still hope that thay can reach semifinals, even with this roster :D

    I hope so too, we will see next week, Podolec is probably no option for OH now, I think they miss one tall OH killer (like Kasprzak could be)

    Statement from club in this article suggests the injury was increased by NT staff not giving enough time to heal. Now the NT has released a very long statement to deny this, with lots of technical details.
