2014 FIVB World Championship - Poland - 8/30

  • Both teams are kinda taking turns in losing couple of points in a row in this set. Come on guys, get back to your game. So close, yet still so far away :D

  • Americans recovered their poise and are gaining more and more confidence with every action. On the other hand, Iranian guys seem to lose focus, something I was afriad of after those 2 brilliant sets.

    4th set is inevitable.

  • Iran is incredibly shaky in this set. They look nothing like in those two previous sets. Guys, please... :S

  • This 4th set was not going right from the very start. Americans were solid, or actually Iranians showed nothing that could threaten the USA. Hopefully they're back on track in this final set.

    Iran, I'm begging you.

  • Yes guys, Thank you. you beat two champion claimer right now just at the second game :dance6:
    iran 3 USA 2
I love both of you but iran more than USA. :woohoo:

  • Ok, this is getting ridiculous...if they change the decision now, I swear....

  • Iran made it :cheesy: France and Belgium should be easier to beat, so they can win this pool

  • Ok, so it's over! They did it again! :cup: But this time in way more dramatic circumstances :D Thank you guys sooo much! :obey:

I must admit that after those 2 flawless sets from Iran, I kinda hoped for a quick 3rd set and 3 pts  I was just hoping they won't lose their focus and they kinda did. Americans were getting back into the swing of things and Iran couldn't do anything to take that set away from them. I'm so happy that they eventually regained composure in this final set. They got back on track and did what was delayed in time :super: I'm so freakin' happy for them! Go guys!!! :obey: :obey:

  • Do you know that finally what happened for Armin Tashakori :D ?!
I hope he couldn't successful on his suicide!!

  • Do you know that finally what happened for Armin Tashakori :D ?!
I hope he couldn't successful on his suicide!!

 No, let's hope he's fine, I think it was just a little twist, hopefully nothing too serious :)

  • Well, it wouldn't be that sweet if it wasn't so dramatic, I guess :) Congratulations, Iran! Great spirit, impressive composure in the tie-break despite almost dropping the game. This fast decrease of concentration after a good start might lead to problems, but for now they own the day. Good job!

  • oof, what a match, from perfect to terrible and again the same story in 5th set. it looked like nobody could spike at the end of the match but Marouf really did a great job. :obey:

and I think the last ball was touch :D I can say that from Gholami's reaction.

btw I hope Mahmoudi recovers, Ghafour can't play the whole tournament, he was extremely tired today near the end of the match. Americans were blocking him left and right.
