The 2013 CEV Champions League

  • Is it true that if tomorrow Vakif will win, will they break Fener's record of games played without lost?

It's possible, you just have to believe in yourself and really not care what other people say, because I've heard it all.
If you let someone else dictate what you're going to do in life, then you won't get there.

Non so neanche come onestamente: in due mesi ero di nuovo in campo.

  • yes they will cause fener lost only to rabita in group stages when they won champions league in 2012

  • I hope Vakifbank will repeat their success from 2011, they are really the best in this tournament and they diserve it. Even though I was really dissapointed when Eczacibasi lost against them in playoffs I know that the better won, so I'll be proud if my team lost against champions.
Jovana is in amazing shape this season no doubt but Gözde is the one and only, she's absolutely awesome :flower:

  • i was in the hall :cheesy: :cheesy:

Rabita-Yamamay: Congrats Rabita for the win and congrats Yamamay for the struggle. If Yamamay had a better OPP and with a healthy Loyd then they can be a better team...Loyd made the difference and i also liked Marcon.Yamamay's fans were very well.Montano wow!!

GsD-VB: Wow! what an atmosphere it was!!! great!! :dance4: :drink: :drink: i took great pleasure with the atmosphere, music!!
first set was great! pity that GsD couldnt grab it.Brako's serves made the difference...in the last part Gözde played very well.

Good luck VB for the final match!

Its not about the opposite, kozuch played really good today after setter is changed.U should say busto could win if montano had not played :P

  • When Rabita was 2-0 in sets, I stopped watching the rest assuming it would have been an easy 3-0.
Wow, Yamamay! 3-2? You were very close to win? I guess Rabita stopped playing after 2-0 like my stopping watching.
This probably became a lesson to Rabita players for not to relax before the last ball touchs the ground (and, this won't be good for Vakif.)

GS could make a suprise if they won the 1st set. That could shake their confidence of Vakif players and with the wind and fans behind them, GS could be at the final tomorrow. After the 1st set, everythings were easy for Vakif with recovered unshaken confidence.

Now, 2 different lessons for each teams, Rabita and Vakif.
But, to my observation, Rabita is indeed strong and more than 55% favorite for the win it all. I guess all those international players of Rabita are already motivated by a promised some good extra bonus money by Rabita Baku club owner for winning the cup. So, this will increase their chance to 70%. My bet for tomorrow is on Baku.

PS: If Ecz is unable to reach agreement with Kim for next year, they can transfer Montana.

Actually Rabıta's level clearly dropped after first two sets..Yamamay didnt do anything extraordinary just struggled as before..played their game.

I don't agree with Canter. IMO it was Yamamay's level that has grown as soon as Carli Lloyd entered the court. :obey:

First sets yamamay lacks of so much confidence and caracuta made the game really slow what made the job so easy for rabita.Actually it was not just cause of caracuta, leonardi and marcon also had bad reception. But with the main setter everything changed.I like the way how she uses the players especially the middles and kozuch who needs just fast and unpredictable sets.Busto started to serve better and got the confidence.Team game allows them to play on high level like taking sets 29-27.And also in 4th set busto came back but leads the set 25-19.It was not just because rabita's level. indeed. ^^

  • wooohooo! rabita won :super: now i can watch porn

    :O lol

    After Your statement:

    1. People who don't watch porn- hm ok He watches porn,
    2. People who watch porn- what? He watches porn? How He can? Porn is moronish. Where is stone? I will throw it at Him.

  • Problem with first two set of Yamamay was that they stupidly serve towards Castillo who is one of the best receiver in the world. Then, they started to serve to Rabazhieva and Cruz, which prevent them attack.

Of course another important reason was Lloyd! She was not superb however she makes game faster. After she entered the game, especially Kozuch's and Brinker's ratios has increased significantly.

By the way, today Montano made me eat my word about her. :hit: I've never thought she might be as dominating as she was in Korea, but she was today :obey: With she and Moreno Pino, Colombia must be a vying team, is there any other international Columbian player else? I've heard Zuleta was Columbian as well yet I've never watched her before

  • Congratulations Vakıf & Rabita

Naz made a lot of mistakes today but her choices were more than amazing today, guys! I don't think she played a bad match :D Gözde was the best of Vakıfbank today :win: Gizem played really really close to Castillo today, I loved her game a lot, she's great at defence :win: Brakocevic was very very very great :win: The rest could be better, I liked Glinka's reception today :) And I know Bahar & Fürst never play 2 bad games in a row, I hope they'll be much better tomorrow compared to today :)

Good luck for tomorrow Vakıfbank :super:

  • 16-12 Gala. Busto struggles with Marcon in front; they need Kozuch to terminate from 3m.

Edit: Marcon goes back to serve and now tie game.

  • Brinker thought she had won the point midway. Rally continued and they end up winning it anyway. :P 17 all

The cameraman thought the same as well. :) Sano rocks today!

Gs had an advantage with 16-12 and still managed to lose 21-25. This team clearly seems unprepared for this tournament.
