The new queens now will represent NORCECA Confederation at the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship to be held in Doha, Qatar next October.

The tie-breaker was a close battle point by point until 11-11 when the eventual champions hit the key blows.

USA’s Angela Forsett topped Cataño with 15 points while Venezuelan Oneida Gonzalez and Tatiana Encarnacion each contributed 12 points.

Canadian Stacey Gordon had a match-high 23 points for Caguas while Dominican Annerys Vargas added 13.

USA’s Courtney Thompson, who averaged 26 assists per game, was selected the Most Valuable Player of the series.

“We started to click at the right moment,” Thompson said. “We won eight strong matches in the semifinal and final series and we have a lot of respect a great opponent like Caguas.”

Kenya Commercial Bank also lost match versus Stef Auto from.. Madagascar.

More Club's Teams in Kenya, Top Players don't play in one Club and Top Kenya Clubs' level is going down.

  • Or maybe I am wrong. Madagascar and Cameroon Teams have played against strong Kenya's Teams.

Anton has good source so He will tell what's going on there.

  • I know that, systematic I read them but curious if against Cameroon Kenya played with 1st roster.

i dont think we are on the same page.....three kenyan clubs participated,Kenya prisons(defending champs),kenya Pipeline and KCB.....of the three prisons and pipeline were undefeated in the tournament with both of them not having lost a set...........they met in the finals and prisons beat pipeline 3-0.In the semi-final pipeline of Kenya beat FAP of cameroun 3-0......kenyan clubs and schools are very tough in Africa.....too bad foreign coaches and scouts dont want to pick players from here :win:
