Russia - Superliga 2012/2013

  • Russian Superliga open the door to 2 team from ex sovietic countries. These teams are Lokomotiv Kharkiv and Shaktar Soligorsk, from Ukraine and Bielorussia. Last season there was Minks instead of Soligorsk. Urkraine and Bielorussia still have their own championship. Lokomotiv Kharkiv, for example, is competing in national league with the team B.

This practice is not only in volleyball. The "Russian" Continental Hockey League has teams from Latvia, Belarus and even Slovakia, so it's more of an inter-state championship. It also helps these teams from the foreign countries with weaker championships and provides them with an opportunity to develop.

    Thanks a lot, :)

  • A disastrous weekend for Belogorie in Novosibirsk! They looked so helpless only at the beginning of the season. At this time of the year they should just look differently. It's also true that Novosibirsk has a great momentum that started with the Champions League F4 in Omsk. Biryukov's shape is a killer, he wasn't called up for the Olympics, but Alekno should take him back to the main 12 this summer.

  • Valerio Vermiglio- how to play good on setter position. Italian setter will show how to improve you skills and working better with the ball.

  • Brief translation of what they're talking about?

  • In short words They say- Happy 8th March Women.

Yesterday in interview Cheremishin said that for Kurek is too early to play abroad because.. in second game He got injury and when He came back He couldn't find himself in Team and on court. "Volleyball in Russia is different than in Poland" He said..

  • What happened the last game Yurga-Gubernia between Alexiev and Konstantinov? They are writing in Bulgaria that Alexiev cursed Konstantinov in the last set, is this true?
P.S. What happened to Yurga in those games? They have horrible stats, attack is really poor, less than 50% for all OH's, even the MB's with around 50% in attack?!? Not to mention reception....

I watched only that moment of the game to see Aleksiev's reaction. It was discussed mainly in forum posts, not in a serious material in a website for one reason only - we don't know and couldn't see to whom Aleksiev said these words. IMO he argued to some opponent's player, not Plamen. Aleksiev is a grown man when it comes to such manners, he's never done anything like it. Besides, it was namely Konstantinov who took him in Russia and helped him revive his club career, so longing for a scandal is not the right thing to do. Unless some other piece of info leaks out or either says otherwise publicly, I don't think this can be taken seriously based on a partial situation coverage :)

  • Belogorie won the series being 0-2 down! Today they won 3-0 in Novosibirsk being 4-10 down in the third set. They are on fire :) I think they play Konstantinov's Gubernia next, will be tough though. But an eventual final Zenit vs. Belogorie would be great!
