2012 Olympic Games

  • Judging from Kosheleva's short appearance in 2nd set, she is maybe at 50% of how she can play :| I really think it would have been better to take someone healthy (Makhno) instead of her...

i agree. pool A is composed of easy teams though, hopefully she'll be improve bit by bit... :S

  • gamova and goncharova are on REEEAAAALLLLYYY good terms now, huh? gamova keeps on patting and smiling on her... :whistling:

  • can someone update me with the scores pls. my internet is very slow today damn :cursing: wrong timing

For sure its better than before, but its a bit of acting game too u know, Gamova wants success and knows Goncha needs to play good 2 achieve that, so she does what she can to make her feel comfortable, she´s not stupid.

yeah, i know. that's why i'm whistling... :whistling: it's all for the gold huh? :cheesy:

  • well... congrats to Russia. still, great britain's defence on the 3rd set improved quite a bit. so a big applause of them too... :drink:

  • I didn't expect GBR to play that well so hats off to them. They were not intimidated to play against Russia. Stream is collapsing so I wasn't able to watch the game well.

Aside from individual stats, I'm wondering if there will also be team ranking stats by skill just like in Athens 2004.

  • Even though the opponent was rather weak (yet stronger than expected), I think it was visible that Russia is very well prepared and in good shape. Especially Gamova and Goncharova look very powerful and dynamic, also Startseva and Perepelkina are playing well. Estes...I think she used all her power in May in Japan, probably during the tournament Sokolova will become starter instead of her. Borodakova still does not connect well with Startseva :S But Russia showed that they really want a medal this year after the Beijing failure.

Next up ITA-DOM...I'm waiting to see the shape of Italy's old ladies and also how much the addition of Castillo improves the play of DOM. I expect Italy to win but maybe DOM can cause them some trouble...

  • Yes, I'm also curious with Italy's game. I wonder if they would make significant improvements in less than a month.

    Of course!

  • How the MB from Russia played?

di na kailngan niyan, you just add all the individual stats and eventually you will get the team stats :D

  • Any stream for Ita-Dom?

It's possible, you just have to believe in yourself and really not care what other people say, because I've heard it all.
If you let someone else dictate what you're going to do in life, then you won't get there.

Non so neanche come onestamente: in due mesi ero di nuovo in campo.
