  • This new USA NT feels so weird. Still, I actually kind of like this new formation. Clark so far is impressing me a lot, especially on serving.
Are any of their old players (Stanley, Priddy, Lambourne, Holmes and Rooney) still coming back this year?

  • Speraw building team for Rio 2016. Lambourne was in roster last weekend, Priddy and Stanley won't play in WL.
Beside that Rooney and Stanley are recovering from injuries, both didnt play this season so it would be somekind of a joke to see them in WL

  • From London team Stanley, Priddy and Rooney aren't in wide roster this year. Also Suxho and McKienzie are out. Thornton was in first two weekends, Lee against Argentina and Bulgaria, Holmes was in team against France, Lambourne against Bulgaria last weekend (only substitute). 3 left - Anderson, Lotman and Smith are permamently in roster.

This is actually awesome :rolll: I wonder if Andrea has some plan, if they trained sth special or Igła will only stay on court for reception and defense.
Good to see Kosok  Maybe we will see a longer subtitution on the middle if Możdżon or Nowakowski suck. Since Andrea didn't give many chances to Wrona. And Kosok is his "favorite" so we'll see.

  • Kosok is taken probably for his float serve

  • Wrona and Ruciak are probably sick, so that's why they won't play against USA. Most of called players are on Universiade and Anastasi isn't able to take even just one normal receiver, to replace Ruciak. Ignaczak will appear on court to help in reception, which makes me laugh really much, 'cause so far he was one of those "not receiving well".

  • I feel really sorry to see Bratoev made Sokolov to go out of the match (did not get balls in the first two sets at all, only when he was the only choice) so Bulgaria had less choices in the attack. I really do not understand why he did it. He used Skrimov and Aleksiev much more in the attack than his best scorer. I also feel sorry for Bulgaria to lose 4th set 25-23 :( but I believe they will win points tommorow.

Milushev was great for his role, Gotsev as well, while Skrimov had some problems in attack but overall both him and Aleksiev were good in my opinion (Skrimov had slow start in the 1st set). Bratoev had some bad choices while Yosifov made too much unforced errors.

On the other side I saw Lucarelli is ready to be the leader very soon while Dante is not in his shape, still. Vissotto had good match, especially starting from the 3rd set, while Lucas and Eder were on their level.

  • The team's fundamental skill, a.k.a. ball control, is a problem, wasting so many chances in counter-attack. Georgi's set has been a consistent problem. His sets are always too close to the net. Their service game is also relatively weak as a team. Offensively, I suspect they're even stronger than Brazil - their attackers are always exposed and have to play without dummies.

  • I don't understand this Germany Team. Why they always tackle with their opponents to five sets and finally lost the game! :aww: The most unbelievable thing is that everytime in the fifth set they would suddenly become an amateur team. What a tragedy....I bet they should be the ones who need a win in five sets most to overcome such a dilemma and make some breakings. :sos:

  • is there any livestream for japan-canada match? :drink:
