.They are finally playing like a real team .And who built that team? Who created G.Bratoev and Sokolov? Who called Skrimov, who would stay outside our NT otherwise, unnoticed, cause he is under 2m? Who sent them to the Olympics? Who proposed Placi as a coach? Who, who, who?
P.S Rodrigo Quiroga was absolutely mad yesterday. I don't know if you noticed, but over 60% vs Bulgarian block even without N.Nikolov and T.Todorov is huge accomplishment.

.They are finally playing like a real team .Vladimir Nikolov was the main reason for intrugies in the team.
Our team has changed a lot. It is not only Stoychev and Kaziyski. Vladimir Nikolov and Andrey Zhekov are missing too.
and honestly, pointing Kaziyski as the main reason for lack of team spirit is ridiculous! Everybody who watched our team closely will understand that.
It also helps that the presure was taken off their backs. Now nobody expects anything form this team. There is no pressure on them, becuase they are considered young and unexperienced. Stoychev made the huge step in that direction. He pointed out clerly that our team isn't the best in the world, something a lot of blind, natioanlistic fans didn't want to aknowledge. He downgraded the expcetations and that heavy wieght which was put on the team shoulders everytime we go to a tournament. Now it is a lot different. People aknowledge both the success and the failures a lot more easily without expectations. That makes the difference. -

We miss Stoychev even more:
1) With him some reforms would take place in the federation for volleyball development and and end of slavery of the players would come
2) Skill development - as Andrea pointed, no training in this part has taken place lately
3) We would start to serve strong again.Stoychev and Placi are ideal combination for coach duo

Unfortunately I can't watch yesterday matches. Looking at your opinions I see that Argentina is still missing Conte and good OPP, Bulgaria works really good as a team, Russia surprised me a bit and Brazil disappointed, why Mauricio is in team

His way of celebrating is ok for me but he shouldnt provoke the opponents. On the other hand, I wish Biryukov / Illinykh should have been in the Finals instead of him. Many people might start to dislike Russia because of Spirik -

Agree. He might put Russia in trouble at some point. What if he got red carded at 24-23 with the opponent leading?
Regarding Sivozhelez, I think the coach is over rating him a bit. Zhilin is clearly better. Russia performs better when hes on court.
Whatever happened to Krasikov? I think I saw him in 2010 World league and he performed better than Biryukov...

I totally agree with Bernardinho about Spiridonov. He acts just like Fonteles did against Resovia in the PlusLiga finals and we all know how it came to an end.
He should stay much more focused on the match than provocating opponents. The same for some other russian players.
About Sivozhelez I'm pretty sure he's just out of his best shape. He used to be far away better than this and he's 27 yo player, so it looks strange his level fall down so soon.

I can't stand Spiridonov so much that I've lost interest in our male team results but it's really funny that Bernardinho is complainig about provocations and talk about mental illness. This old crazy man acts like that for decades now! Spiridonov is still far cry from Bernardinho's provocations and disrespect to opponents. So if Bernardinho has taking it so seriously, I would say Well done, Spiridonov! Brazilians who always provoking seem to dislike the taste of their our medicine! Give them more!
