    I honestly have no idea what potential Weber thinks Pereyra has as an OH.


    2-1 for Italy and Argentina has already given 25 points in errors. :aww: So semifinals are already set as BRA-BUL and ITA-RUS. Interesting. I just noticed that all 4 teams were also in the OG semis.

    After tiebreak in Brazil-Russia and won with Russia by Canada it's hard to predict who'll be in final, especially from pair Italy-Russia. If Bulgaria plays the same as with Italy they're without chances.

    Yes i'm clearly apologize for my words. When i saw all this amazing funny moments with the ball in the air of Bira and this head of Savani in the end of the second seth i thought that this is too much. Maybe italians wanted to help Argentina to comeback in the game but the heads of the boys from the silver country are somewhere else.

    Managed to catch the last half of Italy-Argentina only, beer was more important :). I'm happy that we got the the semis, now we just have to beat Brazil :D. I just wish we had Kaziyski, with Sokolov they would be demolishing every team.....

    I am sorry but NO. AS much as I like Canada and found it a nice surprise, Canadian team cannot rely on being placed in 'the easiest' pool for getting hopes to advance. You have reached the finals because of the FIVB experimenting with the preliminary pools. All teams that got to here bar ARG have gone trough some deadly pools, where a lot of great and very good teams have to be eliminated as: Poland, USA, Serbia, Cuba even France, Germany, Iran. Many of these teams were better than Canada, so you have to be thankful at first you are here in the finals on the expense of these teams. What you called a cruel fate I think was reasonable and logical!


    I don't know about Rio, though, there is still so much to be done and time to pass. But I hope you do great and see you there :thumbsup: Congrats for the good performance at this year WL!

    I had that feeling that Berruto won't cheat. Not only because Brazil is harder for Italy than Russia, but because he has no history of cheating so far and he is well educated man - philosopher. Philosophers learn a lot about ethics and aesthetics.

    I haven't seen the whole match because I was extremely tired so I only watched three sets, but really? People thought that Italy lost the set on purpose?Well you haven't seen many Italy or Macerata games I guess, they tend to get nervous and lose sets like this all the time, which is I think the main reason why Macerata didn't win anything this year... (but maybe I'm biased because I can't stand like, half the players in my nt, so yeah.)


    anyway, I won't ever understand Weber's choices... I've never liked Pereyra, at all, and when I saw that this year he was playing as OH I thought Weber wanted to test him during the qualification round since they were already qualified but sadly I was wrong :lol: poor Quiroga, he can't do everything by himself.
    But I'm glad I've got to see Uriarte playing in this match, he definitely did a good job! I'm looking forward to see him play in Poland next year. :)


    I think anyway that this team is lacking of the attitudine they had back in 2011, which is one of the main reason I started to support them - even thought they hadn't stronger players than the other teams they always seemed to fight and enjoy the matches... this is what they're mainly missing right now, and I don't know what happened.. I guess they definitely need a new coach (maybe one that won't let Pereyra play at all :lol: )

    Spiridonov is worse and worse I see :rolll: Unbelievable what this guy is doing all the time. I wish him good luck today against Italy 'cause more such behaviour will make Italians to do a spaghetti from him. Brazilians didn't do that but Italians won't be so patient and merciful.


    I feel sorry for Argentina. I hope you guys will find yourself again. With Conte back.
