    Hello from me! I'm new here!
    I'm from Bulgaria and like to watch volleyball. Not the volleyball specialist, but I've watched it half of my life and I quite enjoy the games.


    I'm mostly watching men volleyball though I watch the women at least in the Olympic games. I have no time for watching more.


    Aside volleyball I also watch football (soccer for the ones that are from USA) and rhythmic gymnastics with interest. Aside that if I'm in the mood I could also watch basketball, baseball, snooker and others, but I don't follow them closely and watch them only for fun.


    I don't have favorite clubs so far, but I root mostly for the teams where Bulgarian players play - Trento, Cuneo etc. And I also root for Bulgarian NT, but I could also criticize them when they don't play well. Other NT teams that I like are Brazil and Russia.


    P.S: As you could imagine English is not my first language, so excuse any errors I might make.

    Actually I like group rhythmic gymnastics because the team is in full synchrony. Something that happens in other team sports like volleyball, basketball and soccer. I know weird :lol: , but that's why I like team sports. It's the fact that there is no I there.


    As for baseball it's not the most interesting sport I agree, but then again for me the most boring sports are tennis and Formula 1. I really can't watch these :lol: . So I guess different preferences.

    Hello, Bulgaria :wavy: Another welcome post which I started with such words but again I don't know the name of the person that I welcome... And I'm really curious 'cause I like Bulgarian names, as we had here several people from Bulgaria with really cool names. So...? :roll: :D


    Anyway, it's a great pleasure for me to meet another fan from Bulgaria since I'm kinda on the same wavelength with some of really nice Bulgarian people here ;) (I hope I can tell that without objection from my Bulgarian friends):D


    Ok straight to the point 'cause my "welcome post" is getting too long again... Have an amazing time here, complete the Bulgarian crew and see you in other threads - especially see you in the thread about World League 2013 'cause we're expecting another epic battles between Poland and Bulgaria :win: and it's gonna be legendary!

    I actually was in the hall for the game between Poland/Bulgaria in the World League this year. I had the privilege to watch some games of our NT team this year with this new hall and the feeling was awesome. The best game was Bulgaria/France for the Olympic qualification. I would definitely be in the World League 2013 and if they play here I would go to watch the game in the hall. I'm that type of a fan.


    I saw your comments in the Olympic games this year and I was gladly surprised that you support our NT team and some of our players. That's awesome. I like that in sport - that could unite people.

    It's nice that you have a chance to support your team live. This hall in Sofia - Arena Armeec, did I write it properly? - is just sensational. And watching your team live (of course versus my team) is my dream :roll:

    Yeah it's Arena Armeec (I think that this the correct way to write it, so you did good) and it's awesome there. The first time I saw it - was in the hall opening when we played friendly game with Serbia (part of my birthday gift and it was awesome). I was actually surprised that we will have such place in our country where we could watch our team. Not that in Varna people didn't watch them or support them, but the hall was smaller. In Sofia it's bigger and when it's full - it's about 12500/13000 people and when they sing the national anthem I just shiver.


    If they play in your country do you have opportunity to watch them live? After all there will be 2 such games in World League 2013 and if you could, this will be your dream come true.

    If I make it to the time of WL and survive this year... :P For sure. I was on few matches and in this coming year I hope to see a match between Poland and Bulgaria necessarily in our legendary Spodek in Katowice :)

    I guess one of us will watch those games between Poland and Bulgaria live. We will just have to wait and see - who 8) . Btw your halls are sensational too and you have passionate audience which I personally like a lot, because let's face it - volleyball is not the most popular sport in the world. In fact few are the countries where the sport is appreciated and supported by the nation.

    I contribute to bgvolleyball.com with the Bulgarian players in Japan for men's and women's volleyball.


    As an American, baseball is definitely a much slower game, but it is not boring. The professional season is incredibly long (162 games/days), so it is like a marathon and not a sprint, and that is before the playoffs.
    Baseball and cricket are very similar (defense controls the ball), but some cricket matches can take 5 days and to me that is the most boring sport, even if it is similar to baseball.
