European League 2013

  • Thanks for the stauts.

Saskia seems to be in a good form right now, although we have to see how she will keep going... Berit getting only 2 balls in attack :what:

At first sight I was surprised too, but then I looked closer and saw that in the first two sets, she played as MB2, so she'd have to attack through the middle, and that is not at all her strength! Probably Guidetti wanted to see how she'd do there, because in case anything happened to Fürst, either Ssuschke or Kauffeldt has to play as MB2 :white:

  • Umm, let's see - bench, bench and some more bench
Seriously, she has played like maybe 3-4 matches in the starting 6? And that's tops. Other than that she had some subs, but for the most of the season you could actually forget she was there. Probably that's why she made those little videos about Muszyna's preparation to the Polish Cup

Yep, she was substitution not only for Werblińska, Jagieło or Kasprzak, but also for Popovic as OPP, She had little playing time throughout whole season, estranged summed up her performance perfectly.

Has Ssuschke ever played as MB2 ? ?(

  • Hélène Rousseaux at Muszyna.
Ok. So she needs to play a lot. I hope this European League will be good for her.

  • Serbia-belgium was surely not so good but it was really better than being 'low level'.Belgium is better than i expected, they play as a team and just need more experience.I think belgium may compete better tournaments in next years  And lastly the wide roster of serbia is just :white:

Agree. Belgium got Frauke Dirickx who played a good and rather quick organisation game yesterday

I'm also looking forward to watching Belgium tonight against Germany and I think they have a chance to win. As you said, Dirickx is a very good setter, Aelbrecht and Bland are very good MBs, Leys and Rousseaux have a good level too. Only Van Hecke is missing at the moment...

  • They're playing in Turkey, right? I don't hear any scary demo sounds at all... the crowds look pretty calm... very unfamiliar

  • Polen definitely should get more weight... she looks like a tall skull :( Hope Busra can share some...

  • Matthias, I was gonna say exactly the same thing. Romanians don't seem motivated at all.

  • For what do You want to see slowmotions?

Even if Referees do mistake You will change nothing so slowmotions are only waste of time.

  • Referee starts the rally before Onyejekwe is even ready to serve, she is visibly annoyed and it results in a serve error  :aww:

Those rule tests are a complete failure!

That is not rules' fault only Her.
If She had more discipline, She would be faster to do this things. Second- during old rules Players don't do serve errors yes?

  • I know it's no use trying to discuss with you, but...

For what do You want to see slowmotions?

To enjoy the beauty of the game and see some details which are hard to see in real time.

I am quite sure that the number of serve errors would increase under the new rule because players have less time for concentration before serve. People who play volleyball know that rituals before a serve are very important. And players who serve from far behind the court literally have to do a sprint to arrive there in time :aww:
