Osikhina
Osikhina is pregnant.
Treytakova had a child in 2010 so maybe she did not accept to return to Russia NT.
Salina balls raises as high as other setters Russian, but she knows the trigger by the MBs, it will be of great help.

Tretyakova would be good for NT this year
what does it mean??
what does it mean??
Russian volleyball federation decided to give some time for a vacation to: Obmochaeva, Startseva, Moroz, Borodakova, Morozova, Kryuchkova, Kuzyakina and Alisheva. They will join the team in a 3-4 weeks.
Shcherban and Uraleva made surgeries and might join the team in July.
Perepelkina will miss this season in National team.
Interesting fact that since Perepelkina will be sitting out this season, Valeria Goncharova will have an opportunity to play with the NT. As with her sister, she is one of Russia's naturalized players and could not compete with the squad because of the 2 naturalized player limits.

I'm not sure if you're right about that...a country can have one naturalized player that played for another NT, in Russia's case Obmochaeva, but afaik there is no overall limit for naturalized players. Azerbaijan NT would cease to exist if there was something like that!

Thanks, I never heard about that 2 naturalized player limit before, and as I said above, how can Azerbaijan NT play with that??? Mammadova is from Ukraine, Rahimova I think from Uzbekistan, Kovalenko I think from Belarus...

Some news about the unluckiest player Vera Ulyakina who had been pregnant right before the olympics? I don't think she's the best setter, but somehow an okay setter for Russian NT. I got simply surprised when I heard she got pregnant in such a time...
Thanks. but...unless I'm missing something, it only says that only one naturalized player that played for another NT of the same age group is allowed in NT, but I don't see anything about a limit for naturalized players who did not play for another Senior NT. So as Perepelkina and Valeria Goncharova both didn't play for the Senior NT of their native country, there is no reason why they couldn't be in Russian Senior NT at the same time

Exactly. I've never heard of this rule either. The "only one foreign player" rule has been long established, that's why Aguero and Costagrande couldn't both play for Italy, for example.
I think this is some sort of misunderstanding. It's clearly stated in the article that Perepelkina decided to pull out of NT in order to spend more time with her family, so perhaps the journalist drew some wrong conclusions when he saw Gonchareva's name on the list.
The explanation of Goncharova/Perepelkina situation was given by the journalist. It happens that sometimes he gives unconfirmed information. Rumor gatherer. So about this article there might be two possibilities:
- the journalist gave his own logical conclusion;
- there is the interpretation of this situation which were given to the Federation by FIVB.
Anyway as far as I know Perepelkina was invited to the U18 team and trained there but has never played(or registered) in any official tournaments for Kazahstan.
From what I know the player can never have defended their country of birth has been Independently infant, juvenile or adult.
Mammadova never defended the Ukraine, and she Kormaz (Emylinova) played together, and as we know Inessa defended Russia NT 93-2001.
When come Natalia Goncharova in the selection, Valeria will have to leave.

Natalya Mammadova (Skazka) played in junior national team of Ukraine in this final
And she was played in Senior European championships 2003 at least (Skazka)
I don't think Mammadova is counted as a "foreigner" since she played together with Inessa Korkmaz, and she definitely represented Russia before.
It must mean Mammadova never played on Ukrainian senior NT.
I remember reading how Ukrainian team registered "Natalia Skazka" to play in some competition, and she didn't show up. Then some time later, they played against Azerbaijan, and they read there was a "Natalia Mammadova" on the team, but they didn't know who she was. And when they saw her, they realized it was actually Natalia Skazka!
Startseva - Obmochaeva
Kosheleva - Pasynkova (new Sokolova)
Zaryazhko - Perepelkina
Kabeshova
Great roster, Rodrgio. But Masha Perepelkina has said she wants to take a rest and recover her injuries this year...I guess her spot will be filled by Morozova. On the other hand, Those 3 young hitters look extremely strong, but I don't really expect Kosheleva to play like 3 years ago...it still seems she hasn't recovered yet fully. for me Pasynkova and Zaryazhko are the biggest expectation.
Quite shocking (at least for me) news came from CEO of Dinamo Krasnodar, Ruslan Olichver (via google translator):
- The contract with Rosir is for 3 years. Given a strict limit on the foreign players in the Russian Championship and the lack of high-class strikers, I can say that in the near future Rosir Calderon will receive Russian citizenship and no longer go to the site in the status of Legionnaire. It is possible that the newly formed Russian woman interested in the future of the national team coaching staff of Russia.
Rosir playing for Russia? Do you think it is possible?
