Being on the bench did her good - having to fight to be a starter, she plays much better

Simge collided with the ball and had some problems with her teeth, but she is now practicing with the ball

I don't know but I always have concerns when I see Ayça as a starter at NT
but today she is doing very good, perfect reception most of the times

Cansu is not playing well IMO, Elif certainly deserves to be starter in the important matches this year.

Reception is a big yes, her defence is kinda bad tho...she lead to some misunderstandings too.
I also wanted to see Simge, given that anyway Gizem is seated on the starting six spot and not bothered by any of the two.

She could do more.I remember a looooong time ago in the old forum there were topics with the highest scorers of the world from all kinds of leagues, maybe someone needs to make a list of the most attack attempts
Herbots certainly would be a contender for 1st place, but I'm sure Barbara Jelic also had matches with that many attacks

Herbots certainly would be a contender for 1st place, but I'm sure Barbara Jelic also had matches with that many attacks I don´t know if it´s true or which match that was (but I suppose final of WGP 97) there was written Artamonova had over 100 attack attempts - is that possible?
edit- yes, it´s there, somebody uploaded that match again on YT some 2 months ago and wrote that in comments, that she had 100 hit per game...stats are still somewhere?

I think with the old scoring system it was kind of easier to have so many swings because matches could last much longer. Probably most of Karpol's OHs had appx 100 attempts in the 90s, and watching the 88 OG final I would guess that Smirnova and Sidorenko both must have at least 80 attacks in that match as well, probably more.

Yeah i got curious and checked the stats for the Italian league (there's no section about most attempts in a game, only for most winning attacks but I guess it still applies), with the new system the one with the most is Egonu with 80 attempts, with the old system Janis Kelly had a game with 122 which is a pretty big outlier (second is at 101) but there are a bunch of others with around 80 to 100 attempts

Even under the current scoring system someone still had over a hundred swings in a match in Korea lol
