Marrit Jasper clearly missing game rythem, even her reception isn't good...
I would love to see Jansen play with the starters (or as backrow sub this set) to see if she can currently do more in that defensive OH role. Marrit will always go to WCH no doubt but just to see the alternative if she's not able to get in rhythm in time

I feel like Marrit is just having an off day? or maybe I'm biased lol but I don't think she'll be this bad any time they actually need her for a real tournament. I'm fine with Jansen though
NL surely won’t bring Knollema to WCh I hope?!

Yeah set 2/3 she already improved! Jansen as alternative for backrow sub should be fine but it became clear in set 3 that (unfortunately) she doesn't seem ready yet for the full rotation play on this level, but I partly blame it on those horrid sets she got ![]()
In between sets they interviewed Britt and she spoke confidently about a "we" so no pressure girl but you better be fit to play in 2 weeks ![]()
I'm not sure which thread to put this (outside Korean NT thread, in case the others would be interested), but the Korea Invitational will start today with Korea, Japan, Argentina, France, Sweden and Czechia as participants. Japan is sending their B team, Korea will have their main team, then the other 4 I believe is sending their WCH roster and will use this as training.
The matches will be streamed on youtube:
www.youtube.com/@대한배구협회/streams
here's the schedule for today (Korea time):
13:00 France vs Japan
16:00 Korea vs Argentina
19:00 Czechia vs Sweden
full schedule as posted by JVA:
Does any Greek user have any information about the friendly matches between Greece and Slovakia, which are supposed to take place tomorrow and the day after?

amazing performance by Isabelle
in stronger NT she could win so many trophys, but I appreciate, that she is loyal her country and dont try to by naturalized in other one![]()

For a reason she is the main attacker/opposite of best club team Conegliano.

Funnily she could easily play for France, because of her father, but indeed Sweden is her clear choice.
With France she could have more chances to play at high level, even on VNL, but I respect her choice and wish good luck![]()
Isabella Haak ones again with monster performance, now against Korea with 34pts and 52% in attack after She scored more than 40pts against Czech Republic with crazy 58% in attack.
Everyone already knows what Haak is capable of so I don't get why she's going all out during a friendly. If anything their coach should've used that opportunity to make sure the rest at least do their part.

This is all on the coach… But at least We know that She is in really good shape when She can perform like this back to back.
Greece won the two friendly games vs Slovakia 3-0.
Extra set in favor of Slovakia.
