  • Cant wait to watch this tournment! Well, for european fans it would be a thriller. I feel a darkhorse is going to qualify. The only team which I see in the top3 is Russia.
Just hope the referees will be up to it.

In the other hand, we shouldnt forget we are going to see a lot of "fair play" and drama in the Americas. CSV qualifier is tighter than ever, 4 teams have almost the same chances.

It is such a pity a ticket to Rio is wasted in that non sense Intercontinental Qualifier. It is just harmful for sportmanship. Unfortunately it is too late to change sth.

  • I can't wait the start of the tournament. The EOQT is probably my favourite volleyball tournament which I've followed since 2004. :box: And I have many memories connected with Poland matches in the tournaments. Some great wins and some painful loses... Especially the lost match against Turkey in the semifinal 2004 to this day is so sad for me. ;(

In this edition I will support the teams which have never played at the Olympics (with the current rosters). I mean Germany, Netherlands, Croatia and Belgium.

Of course Poland is still my favourite.

  • I'm argentine and I don't want to see our team at the olympics in women to be honest...

the only reason I want to qualify is to deny Peruvians and Colombians of the place, because if they win we would see no end to their mocking.

If Argentina ever wants to be a big team they need to play big torunaments such as the World Cup and Olympics.

Argentina almost defeated Serbia in the World Cup.

I want to see Argentina in Rio

  • ARG will most likely qualify because they don't have to face BRA, but i can't imagine PER or COL beating PUR or DOM to get the intercontinental last spot. i personally would like to see both DOM and PUR at the olympics and it could happen.

For me nothing beats the heartbreak after our loss to Russia in Halle. When we were down 0:2, won the third set 25:11, then levelled the game and we were up couple of points in the tie-break, till Skowronska made serve mistake.. I saw this match once, when it was live, and I refuse to watch it for the rest of my life. Never again.

  • kondzio, what happened to your favorite player, jeoselina rodriguez, and sidarka nunez, i guess kwiek doesn't like them anymore?

No info about Rodriguez ;( I even don't know if she's still an active player  after serious injury in Peru when she played for Universidad Cesar Vallejo I have no news about her :(

about Nunez - IMHO she's just too old, inefficient and without prospects so it's better to try any other solutions like Mambru, Martinez, Eve or healthy De La Cruz on right wing ^^
