Egonu reminds me of Hooker a little but seems Egonu is stronger than her or Egonu prefers to play with her strength more than Hooker
We don't know Paola Egonu's mind but it is quite possible she will be better than Hooker for that

I'm feeling sorry for Germany (and even Brinker) right now. They are out while a (poor) team among Italy, Belgium and Poland will go on.
Still waiting for Skowronska's leadership.
This morning I was thinking the same, but now I'm really enjoying this Italy, so after all I think their qualification would be deserved.

Egonu has some incredible potential. It would be great to have her play her first Olympics now, rather than in 4 years, even with the zero expectations of this Italian NT.

Egonu secon time won a crucial set with her ace....she together with Werblinska have been best jump servers in this tournament ..Neslihan's serves are also good but she makes many serve errors.
