i think, japan is peaking at the right time. i remember last year, they were also very weak in the eliminations round. they just got better in the latter rounds and finals.

Turkey are defending and blocking well (Some of the Babollini effect here) - but their transition play is not very good. It seems they panic a lot and they try to hit the ball harder and harder, or tip into the same places all the time...
