    My mistake! Totally forgot about Melike. I guess Özgenur saw better chances playing over her than Asli Kalac in GsD.


    About Bahar Guidetti, I did not hear any better explanation so far. She is healthy, training with her team, clearly better than Busra but not invited to the team, so...Anyway, it will be nice to see her playing in Italy!

    I look forward to seeing the Turkish women's volleyball team in the 2016 Rio OG along with the Russian team.


    Naz Aydemir Akyol is so gracious, I mean gorgeous :) :rose: will love to watch her and other Turkish ladies in Rio :olympia:

    I have rarely been so optimistic before a competition (a merry pessimist, that's me :lol: ), but our form at the World Cup (minus a few trademark brain-farts), the fact that we play with the same exact team, and my opinion that we have never had a stronger starting lineup* (absence of Brakocevic and Malagurski notwithstanding), make me positively anxious to see our play.


    A bench gives some reason for worry, since, with the exception of Stefana Veljkovic, all of them are noticeably weaker than the starting players.
